ELEVATE YOUR PURSUIT III

Part of our responsibility is to keep celebrating the Lord on high. Live the rest of your life celebrating the Lord on high. This is how children of God should live in this world. That is the true meaning of grace.

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.” 

Titus 2:11-12, KJV

True grace is an empowerment to live above the contradictions of the environment. You are in the world but you are not of the world.

Daniel taught us how to live right.

“But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.” 

Daniel 1:8, KJV

Daniel purposed in his heart that he was not going to be defiled. Your decision determines your destination. Many times I ask myself the question, what exactly do the people of the world enjoy? Many times what they celebrate is empty.

Those who are supposed to celebrate substance do not even know how to do it because they think that there is something out there. However, if you decide to taste the world, when you come out of it, all you will discover is emptiness. That is why anyone who misses God has missed everything. Anybody that does not have Christ has a long way to go no matter his or her background. That is what the true Church should be preaching.

Ensure that you don’t go into politics with the theology of the present dispensation. The message has to prepare people to come from above. You cannot change what is down from below, that thing will rather change you. We have to change the message; the message of give me your gold and I will make you a god.

Every action is about the spirit, if the spirit is not right there cannot be reign of righteousness. Whenever people tell me that they have the call of God on them, I always advise them to pray very well. Ministry is not fanfare, ministry is actually warfare. If the call is not there, don’t expose yourself because some people don’t recover from the battles they fought. May you never put the wrong foot forward in the name of Jesus.
