ELEVATE YOUR PURSUIT IV

The restructuring of any nation must start from the spirit realm. The healing of the nation must start from the healing of the Church. The healing of the Church must start from the healing of the home. The healing of the home must start from the healing of the man. “Adam, where art thou”? A lot of ‘Adams’ are rat chasers. That is the greatest undoing of man. Today, many men are busy chasing money, they have forgotten God. How many men are true priests in their families?

The first requirement of leadership is direction. Where are you taking your wife? Where are you taking your family? The worst mistake anyone can make is to follow a leader who does not know the way. The leader of a prominent religion told his followers that he does not know the way. Who is the Way? John 14:6, Jesus is the way! As a man, you need to pray that God will not ask you the question – where are you, in the name of Jesus.

The greatest thing you can give your family is not money, although a lot of men believe that that is the greatest thing you can give. Direction is the greatest thing you can give. The brain box of every home should be the man. The head contains the eyes; what do you see, what is the vision? Where are you taking your family in the next five years? Where do you want to see your family?

Look at all the senses in the head. Any wise man will first and foremost surrender the headship to the Way, the One who is the truth and the life. Can anyone who is not in the Word give a blind leadership in the world? The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of grace. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel and might. Everything you need to succeed is in him. That is why if we surrender leadership to people who don’t have the Holy Spirit, they will invoke contrary spirits.

Remember that the devil is interested in control. The spirit the leads them is the spirit that will be prevalent. Why is there criminality in many nations? It is because criminals are at the helms of affairs. What you celebrate is what you magnify. What you magnify is what you magnetize. How can you expect criminals to stop criminality?

The only thing that can prevent a man from committing sin is love for God; you love God to the extent that you don’t want to hurt him. You will love what he loves because you love him and you will hate what he hates because you love him. That is what will keep you from sinning because that is what will produce reverential fear of God in you. You don’t have fear of God because he is intimidating, no, you fear him because you love him that much that you don’t want to displease him. When the atmosphere is right for you to commit sin and you remember that God is watching, you will decide not to go ahead. Until we get people in the Church to that dimension, ensure that you don’t encourage them to go into politics.

Tithe paying does not cover sin. The Pharisees paid their tithes but Jesus rebuked them for their hypocrisy. It is very good to pay your tithe, I never fail to pay mine but I pay it out of love, the love that I have for God. I don’t pay it for any wrong motive, I know that God will definitely do his own part of the covenant. That is the real prosperity message not the message that teaches you to give in order to get.

A lot of people hold on to the scripture in Luke 6:38 when they give, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again”. If you base your giving only on this scripture, you will get yourself involved in gambling. What you will produce is a transactional relationship with your heavenly Father. May our relationship with God not be transactional in the name of Jesus.

This is one of the reasons why people steal money and donate for building of cathedrals. Even if you build one thousand cathedrals from stolen money, you will end up in hell! God does not need your money. Until you make gold to be under your feet, there is no how you can walk on the golden streets of heaven. How can those who make gold their god make heaven at last? May what should be under your feet never be over your head in the mighty name of Jesus.
