2025/2026 OPERATION 18-18 – (COVENANT OF LIFE II)

“But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.”

Hebrews 2:9, KJV

Jesus tasted death for every man. The reason why he did it is to settle the spiritual debt that he never owed. It was man that sinned in the Garden of Eden. The Bible makes it clear that the wages of sin is death. But God decided to give us a free gift from his throne of grace, his very best in the person of his only begotten Son. Our salvation is free but not cheap. It cost God his very best; the greatest gift. That is the reason why the cross of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is the greatest display of love, the greatest display of the grace of God and the greatest display of submission. Man’s will crossed the will of God and for the first time, man submitted completely. On the cross, Jesus Christ was one hundred percent man. He tasted death to pay the price, the penalty of sin.

There are three Ps of sin: the presence of sin, the power of sin and the penalty for sin. It was settled on the cross on a once for all basis. That is, the sinless, immaculate, perfect blood of everlasting covenant. What a wonderful wisdom of God that procured this, the power of God that established this. I want you to understand your salvation from this perspective because many people are toying with their salvation; they are not serious with their walk with God. They have opinion about everything. If you are not growing in the Word, you are just sinking in the world. It is unfortunate. What are you chasing? What do you prefer above the word of God in your heart? Misplacement of value! This is one of the problems of fallen man. Fallen man acquired a diseased perception of reality, chasing shadows, chasing vanity with the illusion that it does not matter, God understands! God is very meticulous. Heaven is orderly. It is not a place for people who live anyhow. Nobody who lives anyhow can make it there. It is only those who have surrendered their will to the will of God through the finished work of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, those who are connected to that altar that will make it.
