SWEEP THEM AWAY

”Therefore, a mighty wind shall sweep them away; they shall die in shame, because they sacrifice to idols.” (Hosea 4:19 TLB)

God wants His children to always be clean in the strictest sense of that word. There are certain things that should not be found in the life of God’s children.

These include:

Various forms of religious error or bondage such as submission to unscriptural doctrines or abnormal prohibitions, unnatural asceticism, refusal to eat normal foods, superstitious observance of all kinds idolatry and so on.

Resort to charms, fortune telling, astrology, mediums, palm reading, horoscope, witchcraft, magic and so on.

Enslaving habits such as gluttony, alcohol, nicotine, dope, sexual immorality or perversion of any kind, uncontrollable unclean thoughts or looks harlotry and so on.

Blasphemy, mockery, unclean language, gossip and so on.

Persistent or violent opposition to the truth of the bible or the power of the Holy Spirit.

False doctrine and so on.

God loves you. He craves a close walk with you. If peradventure you are struggling with any of the things mentioned above ( and the list is by no means exhaustive),  I beseech you in the name of Jesus Christ, and Lord, SWEEP IT AWAY. Clean up. Get ready to move up to higher ground. Apostle Paul says:

”Don’t you know that those doing such things have no share in the kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who live immoral lives, who are idol worshippers, adulterers or homosexuals – will have no share in his kingdom. Neither will thieves or greedy people , drunkards, slanderers or robbers: There was a time when some of you were just like that but now your sins are washed away and you are set apart for God, and he has accepted you because of what the Lord Jesus Christ and the Spirit of our God have done for you” (1 Cor. 6:9 – 11 TLB)
