A WONDERFUL INHERITANCE (PART IV)

”All honour to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is his boundless mercy that has given us the privilege of being born again, so that we are now members of God’s own family. Now we live in the hope of eternal life because Christ rose again from the dead. And God has reserved for his children the priceless gift of eternal life; it is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. And God, in his mighty power, will make sure that you get there safely to receive it, because you are trusting him. It will be yours in that coming last day for all to see”. (1 Peter 1:3 – 5 TLB)

”The Lord himself is my food and drink, my highest joy! He guards all that is mine. He sees that I am given pleasant brooks and meadows as my share . What a wonderful inheritance!” (Psalm 16: 5-6 TLB).

God has reserved the priceless gift of eternal life for His children. Be encouraged! God’s mighty power will ensure you make it to the promised land. Keep trusting Him! Let’s take a closer look at some of the components of our wonderful inheritance in Christ Jesus.

The Righteousness of God in Christ (II Corithians 5:21)

The light of the World (Matthew 5:14)

Hid with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3)

Rooted and built up in Christ (Colossians 2:7)

Abiding under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1)

Possessing the gate of the enemy (Gen.22:17)

A royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9)

A chosen generation(1 Peter 2:9)

Sealed by the Holy Spirit (Eph. 3 :30)

Filled with the Holy Spirit (Eph 5:18)

In the bride of Christ (Rev 21:9)

Proclaim it! You have a wonderful inheritance. It is yours for all to see. Glory to God!

P R A Y E R

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you so much for your boundless mercy and generous provisions you have made for me. May your Name forever be praised in Jesus Name. I trust in your mighty power to enable me possess the wonderful inheritance you have for me through the death, burial and resurrection of your dear Son Jesus Christ. Through Him I shall do valiantly. Amen.
