KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS

”Since we have such a huge crowd of men of faith watching us from the grandstands, let us strip off anything that slows us down or holds us back, and especially those sins that wrap themselves so tightly around our feet and trip us up; and let us run with patience the particular race that God has set before us.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, our leader and instructor. He was willing to die a shameful death on the cross because of the joy he knew would be his afterwards; and now he sits in the place of honor by the throne of God. (Hebrew 12:1-2 TLB)

‘Where have all the role models gone?’  asks a columnist in The Punch Newspaper of Friday, March 9, 2018. Truth is true role models are hard to find in the world today. I thank God that we have a perfect role model in Christ Jesus. He is the author and finisher of our faith. He is the truth, the way, the door; the pattern Son. Anyone who keeps his eyes on him will have comprehensive success in the real sense of that word. Everything will work out for your good if you climb the leader of faith with God through Christ Jesus, His Son. God will Keep the world in perfect order and give you success in the end.

I maintain that by the Grace of God, we are so rich, we are so abounding, we have such a treasure – house, we have such a storehouse of God, we have such an unlimited faith to share in all that God has for it is ours. We are the cream of the earth, we are the precious fruit of the earth.

God has told us that all things will work together for our good. (Romans 8:28) God has said that we will be children of the highest (Luke 6:35) and we are the salt of the earth (Matt 5:13)

Be warned. You will never reach those beatitudes if you are holding on the lower things of this world; they will keep you down.

A C T I O N  P O I N T

What lower things of this world are you holding unto? They are your greatest enemies to your promotion. Let them go!

P R A Y E R

Dear Heavenly Father, grant me the grace to climb the ladder of faith with you, so that everything will work out for my good in Jesus Name. Amen
