WITHIN A YEAR

”For thus hath the Lord said unto me, within a year according to the years of an hireling, and all the glory of kedar shall fail:

And the residue of the number of archers, the mighty men of the children of Kedar, shall be diminished: for the LORD God of Israel hath spoken it.” (Isaiah 21:16-17 KJV)

To appreciate this prophecy, it is important to understand what Kedar represents. Kedar was a descendant of Abraham through Hagar and Ishmael. (see Genesis 25:13,IChronicles 1:29, Psalm 120:5, Jeremiah 2:10, Ezekiel 27:21) Kedar represents the children of the bond woman. The evil known as terrorism has been in existence right from the Old Testament times. Cain was a terrorist. He committed the first murder in human history when he killed his brother Abel because his brother’s sacrifice was more acceptable than his. Cain was a religious terrorist. Abel is a type of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Psalmist says:

”Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of KEDAR! My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace. I am for peace: but they are for war” (Psalm 120:5-7 KJV)

Truly, the days are evil. The Hebrew word for evil is ”RA,” which connotes calamity, displeasure, distress, grief, harm, hurt, misery, sorrow, trouble, wickedness and wretchedness. There is enough evil for each day (see Matthew 6:34)

Meditate on: ”Within a year”. It is possible for every evil power that fights against the purpose of God for your life to be placed where it rightly belongs – under your foot; within a year. It is possible for all your requests every one of them to be in your possession, within a year. It is possible for you to experience comprehensive restoration of all your plundered blessings, within a year! It is possible for you to enjoy comprehensive dominion over: sin, self, satan and all his demons; sickness, disease, death, hell, poverty, scarcity , lack for the rest of your life; within a year. I can go on. It is possible because Jesus said……. (Mark 9:23 KJV)

”If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth” .  1 John 3:8 KJV says:

”He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning, for this purpose the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil.”

A C T I O N   P O I N T

BELIEVE. You can be made righteous today if you surrender your life to Christ. Say the simple prayer below:

Dear Heavenly Father, I worship you. I acknowledge that I am a sinner. Please have mercy on me and forgive all my sins. Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, I unreservedly surrender my life to you. I confess that you died and rose from the dead for me. Please be my Lord and personal saviour, and grant me the grace to live for you all the days of my life. Thank you so much Lord Jesus, I proclaim I am born again. Amen.

P R A Y E R

Heavenly Father, I worship you. I thank you for the privilege of knowing you. I receive your word in Isaiah 21:16 -17. I affirm that within a year all the forces of darkness that fought against your purpose for my life will be utterly anihiliated. I celebrate the victory of Jesus Christ at the calvary cross, and appropriate same in every facet of my life. Through Christ I have comprehensive dominion. I give you all the the glory in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
