REDEEMED FROM SICKNESS
”But Christ has bought us out from under the doom of that impossible system by taking the curse for our wrongdoing upon himself. For it is written in the scripture, ”Anyone who is hanged on a tree is cursed” (as Jesus was hung upon wooden cross) (Galatians 3:13 TLB)
Sickness is a curse, not blessing. It is one of the consequences of the fall of man. The perfect man that God made in His image and likeness, and that was placed in a perfect environment was not supposed to be sick or to die as long as he kept only one command. If a perfect man in a perfect environment could not keep one command, how can an imperfect man in an imperfect environment keep ten commandants? It was indeed an impossible system. Disobedience has some terrible consequences. In fact every tragedy in life is traceable to disobedience. According to Deuteronomy 28:15-22, 27-29, 35, 58-61, any one who broke the law was liable to the curse of sickness.
Sickness is not the perfect will of God for man that is why He sent His only Begotten Son to redeem us from the curse. According to Hebrew 8:6
”But Christ, as a Minister in heaven, has been rewarded with a far more important work than those who serve under the old laws, because the new agreement which he passes on to us from God contains far more wonderful promises” (TLB)
Jesus frontally confronted sickness during His earthly ministry: ”And you no doubt know that Jesus of Nazareth was anointed by God with Holy Spirit and with power, and he went around doing good and healing all who were possessed by demons, for God was with him.” (Acts 10:38 TLB)
”That evening several demon – possessed people were brought to Jesus, and when he spoke a single word, all the demons fled, and all the sick were healed. This fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, ”He took our sicknesses and bore our diseases.” (Matthew 8:16-17 TLB)
Here is how apostle Peter captures it: ”He personally carried the load of our sins in his own body when he died on the cross, so that we can finished without sin and live a good life from now on. For His wounds have healed ours.!” (I Peter 2:24 TLB)
Healing is one of the numerous blessings of redemption. Anywhere sickness is in your body, it is an illegal tenant. Evict it!

P R A Y E R
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for the many provisions you have made for my comprehensive well being. May your Name be praised for ever in Jesus Name. Jesus Son of the Most High God, I celebrate your victory on the cross of Calvary. I now proclaim that your victory is my victory. I confess that you were wounded for my transgressions, you were bruised for my iniquities, the chastisement of my peace was upon you, and with your stripes I am healed. Thank you so much, my Lord, Saviour, healer, deliverer and my redeemer. Amen.
