5. You must be strong in the Lord. Eph. 6:10 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might”. There is no place for weakness, you must put on the whole armour of the Lord. Fall in love with Jesus. “Jesus answered and said unto him, if a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him” John 14:23. You can know those who love Jesus by the way they react to his word. Study Heb. 1:9 and Rom. 1:28-32. You must love what he loves and hate what he hates. Get involved in kingdom service. Change the centre of gravity of your life from self to God; enthrone God as the centre of gravity. The proof of your passion is in your pursuits.

6. You must learn to clean up, pursue purity. If you are preparing to fly, you must dress well. Dan. 1:8 says, “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself”. Daniel purposed in his heart that he was not going to be defiled and that was what made him a friend of heaven. Daniel was not a politician; he was a consecrated worshipper. Kings ruled but Daniel reigned. Reject every mark of the beast; you cannot have dominion over the antichrist if you are carrying his marks. Remember that marks are characteristics and attributes of the beast, some of which are deception, pride, tattoo etc. Regularly appropriate the blood of Jesus Christ. This is part of your clean up. Zech. 13:1 “In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness”. The fountain is the blood of Jesus where you need to clean up on a daily basis. Jesus said if you want to be his disciple, you must carry the cross. Never remove your eyes from the cross. One of the weaknesses of the Church today is the downplaying of the message of the cross. You overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of your testimony. Rev. 12:11.

7. Quit getting ready; start living ready! Be ready for the flight. I had a spiritual encounter recently where God instructed me to inform his children to book their flight ticket in advance and leave the date open for him. Everybody is busy chasing something and leaving the only thing that matters to chance in direct contravention of the word of God in Matt. 6:33 which says “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”. Be heavenly minded. A departing soul does not take a dime along; the only thing a departing soul goes with is hope – either a dead hope or a lively hope. The spirit of God is the only thing that gives life. The connection to God is what is going to give life. It is not only a lively hope but also a blessed hope. We have something the world cannot give.
