“Keep your eyes on Jesus our leader and instructor. He was willing to die a shameful death on the cross because of the joy he knew would be his afterwards and now he sits in the place of honour by the throne of God. If you want to keep from becoming fainthearted and weary, think about his patience as sinful men did such terrible things to him”- Hebrews 12:2-3 TLB

Let your belief in Jesus be active and aggressive. It is important for you to understand that the christian life is not a bed of roses, and that God does not promise to keep His children from the storms and stresses of life. He does however give His children strength and protection to overcome the storms as they put their trust in Him.

Christians cannot avoid all the psychological reasonings of these last days. They will succomb to some of the malicious influences unless hey keep their eyes fixed on Jesus Christ.

Those who are not Christ-centred will have some areas of their lives open for satanic attack. Nervous christians who live in unbelief feel frustrated and defeated. The secret of victorious christian living is faith in Christ. Keep your eyes on Jesus. 1 John 5:3-5 TLB says: “Loving God means doing what He tells us to do, and really, that isn’t hard at all; for every child of God can obey Him, defeating sin and evil pleasure by trusting Christ to help him. But who could possibly fight and win this battle except by believing that Jesus is truly the Son of God?”

Give your life to Jesus. Say the simple prayer below:

Dear Heavenly Father, I worship you. I acknowledge that I am a sinner. Please have mercy on me and forgive all my sins. Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, I unreservedly surrender my life to you. I confess that you died and rose from the dead for me. Please be my Lord and personal saviour and grant me the grace to live for you all the days of my life. Thank you so much, Lord Jesus, I proclaim I am born again. Amen.

  • Worship God from the depth of your heart. Give Him praise. Give Him honour and adoration.

  • Celebrate the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

  • Thank Him for the salvation of your soul.

  • Rededicate your life to Him.

  • Ask for mercy in anyway you have missed God’s mark in holiness, righteousness, and wisdom.

  • Ask and receive the grace to be all that the Lord wants you to be.

  • Use the blood of Jesus to overcome any challenge confronting you presently.

  • Ask the Lord to crown this year for you with His goodness and cause your path to drop supernatural abundance.

  • Receive grace to excel where others fail in Jesus Name.

From today, when the Lord looks upon you, may His face beam with smiles in Jesus Name. Amen.
