• Prayer. Acts 4:24-33. The Church was faced with a challenge and they gathered to pray. The early Church was a prayerful and consecrated Church and very focused. They cried to God saying “and now, Lord, behold their threatenings” and what happened? There was an earthquake. The thunder of God’s power came down and gave them boldness, the power of God transformed them from being timid and fearful to courageous miracle workers and within a very short period of time, they were able to conquer the world. That is the secret of dominion. It is not the volume of prayers you say that move mountains, it is not the volume of prayers you say that releases the thunder of God’s power. No! It is the quality of your connection that makes the difference. Usually, towards the end of the year, many Churches embark on prayer and fasting programmes but the tragedy is that many people participate in these programmes with tons of iniquity in their heart. Instead of dealing with the iniquity in their heart, they are busy fasting and praying. Which is easier? Don’t ever get into the routine of prayer without expectation. After connecting to the power of the almighty, you should expect your prayer to release the thunder of his power. Your prayer will release tremendous power dynamic in its operation; your prayer will become effectual. Acts 4:33 says, “And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all”. Great power, great grace! The secret of great power and great grace is proper consecration, proper connection and the right prayer. If you study this scripture very well, you will discover that the place where the Apostles were praying shook. Whenever God releases his power, there will be earthquake; when he touches the mountain, it will melt; when he manifests, that stubborn challenge will dissolve by the thunder of his power.
  • Faith -Faith makes you an overcomer. “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith”. Faith makes you an overcomer. Faith magnifies God. Faith magnetizes the power of God. God honours faith, God is never moved by your tears, he is moved by your faith. When you are concentrating on the almightiness of God, you are actually magnifying God; your faith will then rise to move his power.
  • Confession. Mark 11:23 says, “For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith”. Confession goes before possession. Confession releases the thunder of his power. If you are consecrated and you speak the word of God, the voice of God will thunder through you. Your mouth will become the mouth piece of God; when you give a command, the word of God will be released and angels will execute the command with dispatch. Confession goes before possession so mind your confession. If you keep on confessing the right things, you will keep on possessing the right things. What will move the mountain? The thunder of his power that is released through your word or confession. It is not your shouting that gets the job done, it is the quality of your connection that will move the mountain and get the job done. Confessing the word of God releases the thunder of his power.
