BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 12B) – CONFRONTING THE SEVEN SEALS OF LUCIFER

Lucifer has several seals but I want to emphasize only seven in this discourse.
The Seal of Pride – This is a very cheap sin that a lot of people carry. The Bible enjoins us to flee from every appearance of evil. If you are in doubt about the goodness or otherwise of anything, the best thing is to do is to run away from it. The fact that there is doubt in your heart makes it questionable, don’t gamble. That is the meaning of that scripture. It doesn’t have to be before you run; if it appears to be, RUN. The world is upside down today because those who should flee from every appearance of evil are frolicking with it. You must understand that evil can never be good; it is not in its nature. Pride is a very common seal which many people carry. Isa. 14:12-15, “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” This is referred to as the five “I wills” of Lucifer –
a. I will ascend into heaven;
b. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
c. I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation in the sides of the north;
d. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
e. I will be like the Most High.
Take note of the judgment of God, “yet thou shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” Self exaltation leads to debasement. Take note of where Lucifer made the above resolutions – in his heart! Pride originates from the garden of the heart, that is where this cheap but deadly sin breeds. Adam was deceived by the snake in the Garden of Eden but Lucifer’s heart deceived him. The heart can be very deceitful that is why you need to guard your heart with all diligence. A heart that is not circumcised is a terrible breeding ground for not only pride but other deadly and dangerous sins. Pride is a dangerous, deadly, harmful and toxic spiritual attitude and God hates it because pride is nothing but idolatry of self – making self a god.

PRAY:- Heavenly father I worship and adore you. I magnify your holy name above every other name. Jesus Christ – Son of the Living God I surrender my heart to you. Cleanse me with the precious blood you shed on the cross of calvary from every trace of pride and other toxic spiritual attitudes. Make me holy, pure and acceptable unto you. Thank you so much Jesus.
