BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 15E) – THE SEAL OF NIMROD

I had always had the ambition of being a successful person as a child but after studying the lives of these people, I began to doubt if I ever want to be like them. These were multimillionaires back in the days. One of them openly boasted that he went to God to ask for money but when God refused to oblige him, he decided to approach the devil for blessing and the devil ‘blessed’ him. The man was very rich and accumulated a lot of properties. Many years later, I was going through the pages of the newspaper and saw his obituary. One would have thought that the devil who gave him so much will also have the ability to make him live forever!

Nimrod was the founder of two great empires: Babylon and Assyria, so we can summarize the seal of Nimrod as: –

  • The seal of tyranny.
  • The seal of wickedness
  • The seal of despotism. This is very prevalent in Africa. Almost all African leaders are carrying the seal of Nimrod. It is in such Africa that you find leaders who are richer than their countries .
  • Oppression is one of the characteristics of the seal of Nimrod. It is only normal for a strongman to oppress. Impunity and disobedience to law injunctions are normal under a Nimrod. He is law unto himself; he selects the law to obey and the one not to.
  • False religion. He clothes all the above with false religion and it is that false religion that gives him his power and because it is a false religion, it is actually a seal of Lucifer so it can be deduced that the seal of Nimrod is the seal of Lucifer. If anything or personality comes to you with the intention of rebranding you, you must crush such an intention. The good news is that we have a wonderful inheritance part of which is the authority that Jesus has given us. The Bible says in Luke 19:10, “Behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you”. I have power over all the power of the enemy. That power is ‘dunamis’ and ‘exousia’. Take note that authority is useless unless you know how to enforce it. There is an adage in the Eastern part of Nigeria which says that if an old man does not live up to expectation; children will gather firewood on his head.

PRAY:- Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the wonderful power and authority You have given me through Your Son Jesus Christ. I declare that I have power over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt me. I renounce every claim of idolatry over my life and raise the blood of Jesus against the spirit of Nimrod in Jesus Name. Amen.
