BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 17A) – SEAL OF LIMITATION (2) – CONFRONTING EVIL INHERITANCE

As believers, we need to put to effective use all the weapons that God has delivered to us and one of such weapons is the weapon of prophetic praise. It is a very dangerous and effective weapon of spiritual warfare. You need to intensify your praise this season; it will do what your prayer has not been able to do. When you pray, God sends an angel, but when you praise, God comes down. Praise binds our enemies with fetters according to Psa. 149:6-9, “Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, a twoedged sword in their hand; to execute vengeance upon the heathen and punishments upon the people; to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute upon them the judgement written”. One of the best ways to drive contrary spirits away is to saturate the atmosphere with praise. It is one of the very simple ways of re-creating the atmosphere in your home; sending away contrary spirits and pulling down strongholds. When you succeed in sacking the demons, angels will begin to patrol, miracles will begin to take place, blessings will flow and you will begin to experience sweatless victories.

God has a beautiful design for his children, no doubt, a wonderful beautiful design. The Psalmist in Psa. 16:6 says, “The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.” The Living Bible calls it “a wonderful heritage”. Inheritance is something that you didn’t really work for, it is something you walk into through relationship or by virtue of relationship or connection. You either get it through your biological parents or by adoption. In spite of the fact that God has prepared a wonderful inheritance for us, you still see man inadvertently choosing wrongly and walking into another programme designed by the evil one and at the end man starts looking for who to blame. Man stopped taking responsibility in the Garden of Eden and one of the things we acquired in the garden is buck-passing.

Evil inheritance like any other inheritances can also be as a result of relationship. At the heart of inheritance is relationship. An evil inheritance is something you are born into; you never chose it, you got it by virtue of birth, where you come from, the family you are born into, their tribe and colour. Jer. 2:4-8 says, “O Israel, says the Lord, why did your fathers desert me? What sin did they find in me that turned them away and changed them into fools who worship idols? They ignore the fact that it was I, the Lord, who brought them out safely out of Egypt and led them through the barren wilderness, a land of deserts and rocks, of drought and death, where no one lives or even travels. And I brought them into a fruitful life, to eat of its bounty and goodness, but they made it into a land of sin and corruption and turned my inheritance into an evil thing. Even their priests cared nothing for the Lord, and their judges ignored me; their rulers turned against me, and their prophets worshipped baal and wasted their time on nonsense.” (TLB).

PRAY:- Heavenly Father I thank You for the wonderful inheritance You have prepared for me in Christ Jesus – Your Son. I ask You to forgive my sins of idolatry and grant me the grace never to waste my time on nonsense in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
