BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 21B) – PRINCIPLES OF FINANCIAL PROSPERITY

One of the greatest pressures that the devil is mounting on the children of God and their families this end time is financial and the reason why he is doing that is not far-fetched. His intention is to dangle a meager amount at people so that they will bow and worship money. Take note of the following vital keys: –

  1. Don’t ever worship mammon no matter the pressure. Money, as a matter of fact, should be your servant, a very good servant indeed. Money could also be a terrible task master if you permit it. Understand that money does not have a character of its own; it only assumes the character of its owner. So, if it has a bad owner, it becomes an instrument for dissemination of evil; a weapon of destruction. The devil knows this very well and that is why he is using it as a weapon. Don’t forget that he is ready to offer you anything if only you are ready to bow, so you have to make up your mind ab initio that your allegiance is not to mammon. Mammon is the god of money. Jesus gave a very instructive lesson in Matt. 6:24, “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate one, and love the other, or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” If, therefore, there is pressure on you to serve mammon, then it is a very wicked pressure that wants to make you miss God because the two cannot go together. Anyone who serves mammon cannot be a worshipper of Jehovah, the only living God. All over the world today, people are running from pillar to post doing for money what they cannot do for God; they go out of their way, they stretch to do things which ordinarily they cannot do for God in order to get money. When it comes to the things of God, they immediately shift the standard. It is amazing. Be careful because anything you place side by side God in your heart has become your god. Don’t ever pursue money to the point where it becomes your god. The world is designed in such a way that if you are not careful, there is the tendency for you to pursue money into the grave. People spend their lives chasing money and in the process, lose their health. Eventually, they start using the money they accumulated to try to repurchase health and then realize that money cannot really purchase everything. There are things that are superior to money and there are things you cannot buy with money. Money can give you a fine building, a house but money cannot give you a home; money can take you to happening places in the world but money cannot buy you joy because joy is a fruit of the spirit. Some people have the erroneous impression that once they have money their joy will be full. This is not true.

PRAY:- Eternal Most Holy God I worship You. Only You are worthy to receive all my praise and adoration. I thank You for the generous provisions You have made for my well-being here and hereafter through the death, burial and resurrection of Your dear Son Jesus Christ. Grant me the grace never to serve money. I declare that money is my servant in Jesus’ Name. Amen
