2019 OPERATION 18-18 (DAY 18) – COVENANT OF DIVINE HEALTH AND HEALING I

Exo. 15:26

“And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.”

Whenever you study the Bible, please pay great attention to the word ‘if’. Many people quote the last part of the scripture – “for I am the LORD that healeth thee”, it is part of the promise but not the whole of it. The power in that scripture lies in the ‘if’. The Bible is a book of ‘ifs’, a book of decisions. If there is any word I respect, it is that word ‘decision’. It takes valid decision to walk in divine health; purposeful decision. A lot of people want to walk in divine health but how many people are ready to fulfil the ‘if’. “If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD …”, not lackadaisically, not haphazardly, not conveniently. What God is asking for is the powerful key of obedience; not partial but comprehensive obedience. There is no passivity; it is an active compliance with the blue print of God that gets things done for us, that is the connection that releases the flow of the anointing.

God takes over when your ‘if’ is fulfilled, it becomes his responsibility because he cannot violate his absolutes, he is absolute veracity, God is absolutely truthful and he has elevated his word above all his names. These are the practical, technical aspects of the Bible which are no longer well emphasized and that is the reason why people walk into traps while still going to Church. Such people end up complaining that their Christianity is not producing results. How can it produce? The principles are very clearly laid out, you cannot be walking in violation of the principles and expect them to be active in your life!

Leadership is headship and is for direction. A lot of people destroy their foundation and later on in life, they will start having serious issues. Meanwhile, the Bible is very clear, “if the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psa. 11:3). There is the technical aspect of the word of God which most people are in breach of. For instance, if you know what is contained in marriage, you will not rush into it, in same way if you know what is contained in pastoring, you will not rush into it. But today, people are selected to go and start churches without having the call of God. That is why the world is upside down. God has not changed. The scripture above is saying in essence if you will diligently seek me, if you will diligently walk with me, if you will diligently obey not only my commands but my statutes. Nobody is emphasizing this anymore; we go for the blessings instead. This is a very difficult time to raise children. Why? They know their rights, they will tell you, ‘am no longer a kid, am a grown up’, meanwhile, they know absolutely nothing about their responsibilities. The very fact that you tell people that you are a grown up means you are a baby, you are only a wannabe. Unfortunately, parents bend to the stupidity of their children, to their own peril.

We know our rights but we don’t know our responsibilities! You have a responsibility in the word; it is your responsibility to keep it. As someone who has been in the deliverance ministry, I can tell you authoritatively that if you fail to do certain things, you may be inviting demons; there are things you must not carry into your sleep. Let’s learn to be technical in the obedience to the word of God this year and you will see the blessings come supernaturally. Try to be complete and prompt in obedience. A lot of miracles will meet you at the point of your obedience. The Lord has performed a lot of miracles in this ministry after obedience to simple instructions that he gave us. You may not see the wisdom in it initially, but if you act on it, you will have miracles. To ignore the instruction of divinity, to me, is the highest level of foolishness. What do you know? The One who knows the end from the beginning, the One who is omniscient, the One who sees it all at once gives you an instruction that will help you because he loves you and wants the best for you. Don’t argue. Just obey.
