2019 OPERATION 18-18 (DAY 26) – PREPARING FOR A NEW SEASON 2(III)

What are your pursuits? What changes are you going to make this year in order to qualify for a new season that is scheduled for you? What are the things in the garden of your heart that need to be reconfigured? Are there snakes in the garden of your heart? We need an inward-out transformation as we allow the Holy Spirit. What necessary changes are you going to make? If you are not looking in the right direction, you will always miss it because the beginning of every relationship with God is true repentance; that was why the Psalmist said, “Behold, thou desireth truth in the inward parts” Psalm 51:6. This year purpose in your heart to have a zero tolerance level for anything that defiles and damns. There are things you need to drop, these are the things that are blocking your heavens. A lot of people have faulty foundation and they expect God to bless them! The Bible says, “if the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Psalm 11:3. Purpose in your heart this year – that you are going to be a person of integrity.

PURPOSE

Rom. 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” Do you love God? Take note of the following: –

  1. Purpose designs your destiny. Purpose is the original blueprint that God has for you. When God brought you here, he had a design, he had a blueprint and until you begin to fulfil it, you are just existing. In Gen. 5, you will see a genealogy of Adam; all the Bible says about each one of them is – and this one gave birth to this and died. But when it came to Enoch, the Bible said, “And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.” The way to know if you love God is – what God purpose are you serving in your generation?
  2. Every purpose has a process. A process may be defined as a series or flow of iterative steps that produce a change. Notice that when God designs a purpose, the enemy designs something to oppose the purpose of God. God has a purpose, the enemy also has a purpose and the purpose of the enemy is always in opposition to God’s purpose. God has given you a will, that is where your deciding self comes, that is where your own purpose comes – your decisions. Daniel purposed, you can say Daniel decided. What is your will? Your will is your deciding self. When your decisions are in tandem with God’s purpose, God will back you up. You don’t want to be a ‘wannabe’ because you have a purpose. The enemy may come with distraction (distraction is a process of derailment of purpose) but you have a purpose.

Run away from anything that can take you away from the purpose of God, no matter how attractive. It is a trap! A lot of messages originating from the pulpit today are not preparing people to say ‘No’; the messages are not preparing people to flee from every appearance of evil, to do what Apostle Peter did when he said to Simon the sorcerer, “thy money perish with thee” Acts 8:20. Today, it is a case of ‘give me your gold and I will make you a god’. When God designed that David was going to be a king, the enemy brought a Goliath. For every king David, there must be a Goliath but it is the manifestation of the Goliath that will take you to the palace. What you need to dismantle your Goliath is your connection to God. It wasn’t an ordinary sling that David used to destroy Goliath, it was an anointed sling. What is the nature of your significance? To the extent you fulfill God’s purpose to that extent you are a success. Success is not measured in terms of the things you accumulate or accomplishments, success is not a destination; success is a process. True success is keeping timely appointments with divine schedules for your destiny.
