FROM TROUBLES TO HOPE

“But I will court her again and bring her into the wilderness, and speak to her tenderly there. There I will give back her vineyards to her, and transform her valley of Troubles into a Door of Hope. She will respond to me there, singing with joy as in days long ago in her youth, after I had freed her from captivity in Egypt” Hosea 2:14-15 TLB

If there is anyone whose life exemplified transformation of woeful situations (troubles) into a door of Hope it is Jesus. According to John 14:6 KJV, Jesus is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND LIFE. In John 10:7 KJV Jesus said categorically, “I AM THE DOOR”. There is no hopeless situation for those who are in Christ Jesus. He is our lively hope. He is our blessed hope. 1 Peter 1:3 KJV “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”

Jesus is our hope of resurrection. He is our hope of comprehensive restoration. As the way, He will take us to the promised land. As the door, He will ensure that heaven’s door will never be shut against those that trust in Him.

Are you passing through difficult times? Look up to Jesus. Pour out your heart Him. He will transform your valley of troubles into a door of hope. He will free you from every bondage of captivity. You will sing with joy. Cheer up Jesus loves you.

• Don’t procrastinate. Give your life to Jesus. Say the simple prayer below:

• Dear Heavenly Father, I worship you. I acknowledge that I am a sinner. Please have mercy on me and forgive all my sins. Jesus Christ son of the Living God, I unreservedly surrender my life to you. I confess that you died and rose from the dead for me. Please be my Lord and personal saviour, and grant me grace to live for you all the days of my life. Thank you so much, Lord Jesus. PRAYER

• Dear Heavenly Father, I worship you. I celebrate your love and merciful kindness towards me. I ask you to graciously restore all my plundered blessings to a door of Hope in Jesus name.
• Father, free me from every form of captivity and I will sing of your mercy and love forever in Jesus name.
• Mighty God, grant me the grace to forget all my idols and never to mention their names forever in Jesus name.
• May the name of any evil altar wherein I have been mentioned never be spoken anymore in Jesus name.
• Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ I ask you to utterly destroy all the weapons of our enemies and cause them to submit to your majesty.
• Make me to lie down in peace and safety, unafraid and bind me to you forever with chains of righteousness and justice and love and mercy in Jesus name.
• Father, answer my cry for rain in Jesus name. AMEN.
