A LIVELY HOPE? IV

This earth is winding up and winding up very fast. This age is winding up. I am a student of prophecy. One of the things that amaze me is the consistency of the word of God. That is why I am so addicted to it. The Bible is my constitution. God’s word is real, rich and absolute. It is the compass that will ensure that you do not miss God. What surprises me about the word of God is fulfilled prophecies – the veracity and the consistency of the word of God spanning over thousands of years – prophecies that were fulfilled in the past and prophecies that are getting fulfilled. This gives us an assurance that the remaining prophecies will be fulfilled. You can literally locate where the world is right now in the Bible. Sadly, a lot of people are still living in the Old Testament while the world is in Revelation. There are seven dispensations that God earmarked for man. A dispensation is a moral period in human history that will eventually end in judgment. We are already in the sixth dispensation called the dispensation of Grace, also called the dispensation of the Church or the dispensation of the Holy Spirit. After this dispensation comes the dispensation of God’s kingdom. But there is going to be an interval. The inception of the last dispensation will be marked by the rapture. The rapture of the Church is inevitable.

Pray –

• Heavenly Father, make it impossible for me to be at the wrong side of prophecy in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Protect me; protect every member of my family. Protect us O God and grant that we shall always be at the centre of your will; at the blessing side of windows of heaven in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Thank you faithful God in Jesus name.

One of the functions of the Holy Spirit is his restraining power; it is the Holy Spirit that is retraining the powers of darkness. That is the reason why things in the world will be upside down after the rapture of the true Church. The antichrist will manifest immediately after. The rapture is a spiritual event and it is only those who are tuned to the Holy Ghost that will make it. Those who are tuned to the frequency of this world will not even hear the sound of the trumpet because they will be too busy. If it happens on a Sunday morning, some cathedrals may still be in full session. The reason why we are not seeing the total manifestation of evil is because of the restraining power of the Holy Ghost. Isa. 59:19, “So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” Think of what will happen in the world after the true Church is taken. That is why you should strive to be rapture-ready.
