THE END TIME SERIES – REVELATION OF THE ANTICHRIST 4A

The Bible tells us not to forsake the gathering of the saints. There is a place called ‘there’ where God says he will meet with you. A lot of errors are being propagated one of which is that you can just stay in your house and pray instead of going to the Church. God is omnipresent but there is a place that is called ‘there’ where he says “I will meet with you”. If you are not ‘there’, you have missed it. There is need for brethren to come together in unity. The early Church never forsook daily gathering, they were so united and committed. The Holy Spirit did not descend on the 120 disciples who gathered in the upper room on the first day of their meeting, no, they were there for days engaged in chain prayers until the very day of Pentecost. We are enjoined not to forsake the gathering of the brethren Heb 10:25.

The Bible says “when the day of Pentecost was fully come….” (Acts 1). There were preliminary activities but when the day of Pentecost was fully come, fire fell. By that time, the ground had been prepared for the fire to fall and it rested on each and every one of them bringing transformation. Thereafter, the Church became unstoppable. In Acts 4 when the Apostles faced persecution and serious threat, they gathered and prayed after which there was an earthquake and a fresh anointing descended on them ushering the early Church into a new move. The power of God became unstoppable from that moment, all manner of miracles began to happen, their shadow healed the sick. Stephen got supernatural empowerment. Philip went to Samaria and turned the place upside down. The Church was birthed with so much power, the same way; the Church is going to wind up with greater power.

There is a new anointing coming, desire to be part of that move. There is a place for personal closet relationship with God but it must not be over emphasized to the exclusion of the ingathering of the saints. When believers gather together, a lot of spiritual energy is released. You cannot do this on your own. People travelled miles in order to attend Catherine Kuhlman’s meetings not minding their situation because some of them were actually sick. The power of God was usually so powerful in such meetings that they got their miracles.

Pray –

• Lord, I have heard that there is a new anointing coming, I have heard that there is a new move coming, please help me to be part of it. I key into that new anointing, I trust you O God, to fill me by your spirit. I trust you to equip me. I trust you to empower me. I trust you, Lord, not to leave me behind in the name of Jesus. Thank you blessed Lord. I depend on you. In you I live and move and have my being. Thank you, Lord, in Jesus name. Amen.
