THE BATTLE OF RODS – THE ROD OF THE RIGHTEOUS 1A

As a student of prophecy, I can say categorically that nothing happens by chance. God’s programme is on course. If there has ever been any time that you need to take your walk with God seriously, it is now! This is not the time to play Church; this is not the time to play games. This is the time that Daniel talked about in Dan. 11:32, “And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits”. ‘He’ in this scripture refers to the antichrist. He will corrupt people with flatteries, deception and lying. Many people love to quote the second part of this scripture while neglecting the first part. Meanwhile, the joker is in the first part.

What is your relationship with the word of God? Endeavour not to be a ninety percent person in the things of God, strive to be perfect. Don’t lower the standards on things that have to do with God. A lot of people pay more attention to their businesses and careers than they do to the things of God; they want a God to use and not a God to serve. People position themselves for what they get in the word of God. Are you positioning yourself for exploits or are you positioning yourself to be exploited? Are you positioning yourself for flatteries? If you are, then you will be corrupted by flatteries. If you deal with the word of God carelessly or hypocritically, you will be corrupted by flatteries. How do you value the things of God? Worship means ‘worthship’ – placement of value. True faith is correct placement of value in our relationship with God.

Pray –

• Ask God to help you. Ask him to open your eyes and help you to make the necessary adjustments that will make you to be strong in the Lord so that you can do exploits; strong in your connection, strong in your relationship with God, strong in worship, strong in the pursuit of holiness, righteousness and in the wisdom of God.
• Lord, help me to recognize that your word is for my ultimate benefit; help me to be a doer of your word not just a hearer. Help me to be properly positioned for your end time move. Help me never to deal with your word treacherously. Help me to be strong in you, help me to be strong in my relationship with you and in my faith in you so that I can do exploits in your kingdom in this end time.
• Help me to be relevant. May I not be dislocated. May I not be deceived in the name of Jesus Christ. Through you I shall do valiantly in Jesus name. Amen.
