Seven keys on how to Connect

  • You must be born again.
John 3:3b, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” There is no short cut. If you are not born again, you cannot be connected to heaven. Rev. 13:2b, “And the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.” The dragon gives position, power and authority and as a result, a lot of people are connected to the dragon. The real blessings are deeper than what some people are chasing.
  • After giving your life to Christ, you must dethrone other gods including self and enthrone God.
Amos 5:4b says, “Seek ye me, and ye shall live.” In other words, if you are not seeking God, you are not alive spiritually, you are only just existing. It is not easy to try to serve God when what you actually want is to serve other gods. What is your idol? Anything you place side by side God in your heart is an idol. May the Lord help us to dethrone self. Pride is the idolatry of self. May no trace of it be found in you in the name of Jesus. The prideful cannot connect because God resists the proud. There are things that hinder divine connection that we must eschew.
  • Disconnect from wrong associations.
Psa. 1:1-6, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.” The Living Bible puts the verse 6 thus, “For the Lord watches over all the plans and paths of godly men, but the paths of the godless lead to doom.” This is very serious. Some Christians are toying with unbelievers, frolicking with people they should dissociate from. How can you be connected to God and still be frolicking with the godless? God said you should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers because of the love he has for you. He knows that once you become unequally yoked, there is no way you can connect properly. Wrong connection may lead to electrocution but if you are properly connected, there will be electrification; you world will be electrified. There are people you get connected to and everything begins to look up. Conversely, there are people you connect to and everything begins to go down.
  • Make the word of God your sole constitution.
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” Psa. 119:105. When you connect to heaven, you will eat the food from heaven. Josh. 1:8, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Take note that the success mentioned here is qualified – good success, indicating that there is also bad success. A bad success is a success that fails at the end. Some people actually succeed to fail. Any success that misses heaven is
  • Faith is the connecting factor to heaven.
Faith is ‘trusting God no matter what’; looking up, no matter what. Continuous connection knowing that there is no better option. No matter the circumstance, keep trusting that God will fix it. Faith is forsaking all, I trust him (God). Mark 23, “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Faith is a limit breaker. Faith does not make things easy but it makes all things possible.

Heavenly Father I bless and magnify your name. Thank you so much for giving your son to die for me. I believe that through his death, burial and resurrection, all my sins are forgiven. Grant me the grace to always trust you no matter the circumstance in Jesus name. Amen.
