2020/2021 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 8C (ABUNDANT LIFE THROUGH CHRIST)
The greatest mistake anyone can make is to think that God is a fifty percenter and that is the level a lot of people are operating even in the church. Give a church-going person an assignment, he will reduce it to fifty percent. In fact, he will do it less than fifty percent and I will be wondering why. In our physical endeavor, do we operate like that? Whenever it comes to the standards of God, people do it anyhow. Look at attendance to meetings that starts by 7pm, some people will come by 8:30pm. They feel nothing. The greatest mistake you can make is to lie to yourself. Jesus Christ is not only our life, he is the truth. Anybody who misses the spirit of truth does not know Christ and has missed God. If you miss truth, lie will welcome you and every liar is a loser.
Jesus came to show us the way, he said I am the way, the truth and the life. No one cometh unto the father except by me (John 4:6). He is not a way but the way. Don’t forget that this Jesus is the incarnate word, the word that was made flesh. In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God (John 1:1). Nothing was created that was created outside him. So let us tremble and align our will to his will. The revealed will of God is Gods word. Let’s live it, let’s not lower the standard. God will not lower his standard because of you, he didn’t even lower it because of his son, you saw it. It was according to his word. Someone may say “I try my best, I pay my tithe and give my offering” , Jesus says, “depart from me you worker of iniquity, I know you not”. May that never happen to us in Jesus name. If you are tagging along with people who lower God’s standards, you are hanging out with the wrong people.
Tag along with people who will lift you. Never you follow the broad way that leads to hell. Narrow is the way that leads to heaven. Jesus is that way. Walking hand in hand with him every moment, second, minute, hour, day, week, not only on 25th of December. All the days of your life, that’s how to be a true child of God. Walking in the truth of his word, your conscience is cleansed by the word. Being in the fountain every day, receiving his cleansing, helps you surrender to his will. The mystery of surrendered life is the greatest mystery that we need. It is better to be led by the Holy Spirit than be led by your self-will. May God help us in the name of Jesus. Amen
PRAY –
- Lift up your hand and say God, help me. You know the areas that I am still struggling, please help me to surrender to your perfect will in the name of Jesus.
- You are my source of abundant life, terminate every scarcity, every woe, poverty, lack, and struggle. Oil my path, water the ridges thereof. I declare that I receive your abundant life in Jesus Christ. Let your river of life flow through me, help me to flourish.
- Father, I depend on you, I know you will supply all my needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Take all the Glory in Jesus name.
