2020/2021 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 17B (COVENANT OF HEALING AND HEALTH)

Exo. 23:25 “And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.”

Our Father is promising us that part of the benefits of serving him is that he will ensure that we are in perfect health.

Principles of Divine Health

1. Attend to the word of God
2. Be obedient to the word of God
3. Serve the living God
4. Prayer – cry out. Call upon his name in serious heartfelt prayer
5. Seek the Lord

God himself is a covenant keeper. Once you fulfil your own part of the agreement with God, he will definitely fulfil his own part. The problem is always with man, duplicity, a little to the right and a little to the left – partial contact. Not connecting diligently. A lot of people are seeking God but are they seeking him diligently? The word of God does not say that God is a rewarder of those who seek him. No. God’s word says he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.

Psa. 30:2 “O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.”

If you cry out to God when you are sick, God himself will intervene. Prayer is one of the principles of divine health. Prayer moves the hand that rules the world.

Psa. 34:10 “The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.” Meditate on this.

God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. Those who seek him will not lack any good thing. Health is one of the good things. Wealth, wisdom, power are inclusive. Jesus is the wisdom and power of God. There are instances where people who were critically ill called upon the name of the Lord and he intervened and healed them. A woman was slated for eye surgery in Germany. Before she travelled out, someone gave her one of our albums titled “Higher Ground” and she fell in love with one of the tracks titled “Repair my Life”. She kept listening to the track and was playing it inside her hospital room. The day she was slated for surgery, the surgery did not take place due to some technical hitches in the hospital so the surgery was rescheduled. In the night as she was worshipping God in her room, she said somebody appeared to her, touched her eyes and that was it. By the time the doctors came in the next morning, she was seeing very clearly. The surgery was cancelled, to the glory of God.

There is another testimony of a Sister who was in labour for hours without any progress. The woman started singing another of our songs titled, ‘Alpha Omega, you have broken the heads of leviathan, alpha omega, praise God for saving me’. While she was singing, God intervened and she delivered safety, to the glory of God. Divine intervention gets the job done. There is no impossible situation with God. No matter how bad the medical report, healing is possible. The good thing about the testimonies in this ministry is that they are progressive. God healed a man of blindness sometime last year and after receiving his sight, he was promoted in his office.

Some years back, a particular Sister came to the service with a very terrible medical report of cervical cancer at an advanced stage. To the glory of God, during one of our services when fire of the Holy Ghost fell, she started vomiting profusely from both her mouth and nose a very thick yellowish substance. That was how the woman was healed. She went back to the hospital and no trace of cancer was found in her. We have seen other fantastic interventions of God in this ministry. By word of knowledge, a woman was completely healed of glaucoma, another of arthritis and many more. A lot of people have been completely healed of evil growth after prayer through the power of the Holy Ghost. Healing is the children’s bread. You need to appreciate the fact that God wants you to be comprehensively made whole.

Jesus spent a better part of his ministry healing the sick and casting out devils. The two are related. I have come to realize that many sicknesses are spiritual in nature. For a spiritual sickness, the best thing to do is to cast the demon responsible for the sickness out, and then the person will be healed.
