8. The Holy Spirit gives life to our mortal body. That is why our youth is renewed according to Rom. 8:11. “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” The Holy Spirit quickens. He gives us real life. Remember that out of our bellies shall flow rivers of living water and wherever this river flows, death is cancelled. The law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death (Rom 8:2). The power of this scripture is this – when the Holy Spirit dwells within us, he will impart life, strength, health and vigour to our bodies. So living in the spirit is a health promoting exercise that will increase our physical strength and our lifespan. He reinvigorates, renews, revives and revitalizes us. The law of sin and death is suspended and our youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Pray –

River of life flow though me. Thank you precious Holy Spirit for the life you have given me; the life you have given my mortal body. Thank you for your eternal life that you have placed in my mortal body. Thank you for grace to live.

Thank for the law of the spirit of life that is in Christ Jesus. I am subject to this law of the spirit of life; therefore, I have dominion over the law of sin and death in Jesus name.

9. He gives us power for service according to Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” That prophecy was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost in the upper room. The power of God came upon the 120 people in the room and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. They spoke in tongues as the spirit gave them utterance. The Holy Spirit not only heals you, he makes you a healing agent in a sick world. Anywhere the Holy Spirit is in operation, healing takes place supernaturally.

10. The Holy Spirit empowers our prayer life according to Jude 20 and Rom. 8:26-27. “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.” Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” We really do not know how to pray. By the time you pray in understanding for one hour, you may lack words. But if you pray in the spirit for one hour, you can never get stuck. I thought I was doing well praying in spirit for four hours until I heard about Kenneth Hagins who was doing eight hours. That was why he was mightily used of God. Receive the grace to pray long.

Every seal of untimely death is broken right now; utterly destroyed in the name of Jesus. With long life the Lord will satisfy you in the name of Jesus Christ. Receive the empowerment to pray this year. If you want to hear good tidings and experience great joy this year, learn to partner with the Holy Spirit. Celebrate him.

Don’t pray the way you prayed the previous year; pray more and pray in the spirit more. Praying in the spirit gets the job done. When you pray in the Holy Spirit, you will suspend the natural laws; you break limits. It uproots mountains. You cannot be hindered. Pray in tongues more this year and you will see God manifest. It is possible. Nobody can teach you to pray better than the Holy Spirit. Yield your tongue to him. Receive grace to pray in tongues more than you pray in understanding this year. You can pray – “Holy Spirit, please help me to pray. As I pray in the Holy Ghost, let every mountain be destroyed; then continue to pray in tongues.” It will get to a point that you will find it difficult to stop. No power whether in flesh or out of it can withstand the power of the Holy Ghost. It is the greatest power in the whole universe.
