The Nature of God’s Fire

e. The fire magnifies influence. If you carry the fire of God’s presence, you don’t need any title. When I didn’t have the fire, I used to attach titles to my name, but at a point, I threw away the titles. You don’t need title when you have the fire. The fire will announce you even when you try to hide yourself from being noticed. When I go out, I love to hide and listen to other pastors minister. However, as much as I try to hide, the fire will still announce me. Fire magnifies influence effortlessly. Mark 1:23-28, “And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him. And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him. And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.” The fame of Jesus Christ spread immediately after casting out the demon. The fire of God announces you and it makes you smell fine. When people write you off, God will celebrate you. The fire of God’s presence attracts favour.

f. The fire of the presence of God offers you a protective hedge. Isa. 4:4-6, “When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning. And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence. And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and a covert from the storm and from rain.” The fire will protect you to the utmost. It is the glory fire. The greatest protection is the glory protection. It will protect you wherever you are. Safety is not the absence of danger, it is the presence of God in the midst of it.

Pray –

• Lord, envelop me with the fire of your presence. Build your fire hedge around me and around every member of my family as I go out and as I come in, let the fire of your presence envelop me in the name of Jesus.

• Let it go with me everywhere I go and let it consume anything the enemy throws at me in the name of Jesus. Let it burn to ashes anything that is contrary to the will of God for my destiny in Jesus name. Amen.
