CONNECTION AND ISOLATION I

Dan. 11:32, “And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”

What is the quality of your connection? Your best friend should be the one who helps you to consolidate your connection with the almighty. If you are connected to people who take your focus away from God, you have a long way to go. This is because spiritual power is focus. The devil is doing everything within his power to isolate you from divinity, from the place where enduring help and light flows. Every electrical engineer will tell you authoritatively that if there is perfect connection, there will be a perfect flow. Partial connection is bad and can even lead to outbreak of fire. An improper connection may lead to electrocution while a proper connection leads to electrification. The devil tries to make people connect partially or even totally disconnect them in order to isolate them. Before you are isolated, you must have been disconnected.

My personal connection with the Father has been so rewarding.

One of the first things the devil does is to disconnect people from their places of blessing. Once you get disconnected, you will stop hearing from God. This ministry is not into empire building, we are into building the body of Christ, preparing the bride for the eternal bridegroom. Nobody ever becomes a bride by chance. Whoever gets seduced is already disconnected. The next stage after disconnection is isolation. When you disconnect yourself from where God has placed you, the first thing that will happen is that you will lose the spiritual cover. That was exactly what happened to Eve in the Garden of Eden. Disconnection starts in the mind, in the garden of the heart. Every disconnection that takes place starts from there.

• Dear Heavenly Father I thank you for the privilege of knowing you. From the depth of my heart, I honour and reverence you. Thank you for the greatest gift to mankind, the miracle of salvation through your son Jesus Christ. In your mercy, grant me the grace to consolidate my relationship with you through the knowledge of your son Jesus Christ. Help me to live for him and keep bearing abiding fruits in your kingdom in Jesus name. Amen.
