5. Align with the word of God.
To align means to line up with, to agree with, to submit to the word of God. Stop resisting the word of God. In any area of your life where you are not submissive to the word of God, there is danger. You cannot resist the devil in his terrain if you don’t know the word. Man lost his lord tenancy over the earth when he submitted to the will of the snake. The wilderness is full of anaconda and pythons of various sizes so you need the word of God. This is one of the toughest times to raise God fearing children because the Bible says knowledge shall increase in the end time and it has indeed increased. Unfortunately, it is not godly knowledge; all manner of knowledge has emerged, some very destructive indeed. Some even challenge God and his word. One of the things the Rector of the theological seminary I attended taught us is that the train is very massive, fast, heavy and strong but it needs a tiny rail to remain on course and get to its destination. Any time the train misses its track, there is always disaster. That is exactly how it is if you try to run your life without the word of God. The word of God is that tiny rail you need to align with and just follow if you want to make it to the Promised Land. The word of God is programmed to take you there and give you comprehensive success in every aspect of your life. You cannot run your marriage without the word of God. The word is the revealed will of God. The word is the direction finder. The word is the restraint. The word is the compass; if you remove the compass, you will miss your destination. The word is the rail that takes you there, it is programmed to give you comprehensive success here and hereafter. May you be a person who is comprehensively aligned with the word of God in the name of Jesus. Jesus told the devil, “it is written”. You need to do the same but how can you say so when you don’t know what is written? Joshua 1:8 says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Throw away the word and you miss the mark. May you not be stranded in the wilderness. May you not park before you get to the Promised Land in the name of Jesus. May you not be derailed by the humanistic philosophies that are out there in the name of Jesus.

Pray –

• Lord, help me to align completely with your word so that I can have good success in every facet of my life. I ask you, O God, to bestow upon me grace for comprehensive success in every facet of my life in the name of Jesus.

• Help me to succeed here and hereafter. Grant me grace to succeed to succeed and never to succeed to fail. I align with your will and I declare that your will is best for me.

• Your word have I hid in my heart that I may not sin against you. Thank you blessed Lord, in Jesus name I pray.
