3. Thanksgiving brings increase.
Psa. 67:1-7, “God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; That thy way may be known upon the earth, thy saving health among all nations. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously and govern the nations upon the earth. Let the people praise thee, o God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.” When the condition of thanksgiving is fulfilled, God releases his blessings. In other words, thanksgiving triggers the blessings of God. The dimension of blessing that thanksgiving triggers is mind blowing; they are very visible for the world to see and acknowledge the hand of God.

Many years back at the local Church I used to attend, a Sister was brought for deliverance. She was looking like an 80-year old woman and very frail, she could hardly stand. When we started praising God, she started singing and dancing with us and after a while she would fall under the anointing. After the first meeting, she was looking physically transformed, this was a source of great encouragement to us. She continued with us and the more she continued to praise God, the stronger and healthier she became. We noticed that she loved a particular a song and so we continued singing that song. After about two weeks, she was visibly transformed; it was as if forty years had been taken away from her age. Within four weeks, we got to know that she was below thirty years of age and very pretty. There was no time that we cast out any demon from her. After some weeks, she returned to her base very healthy. She got marriage proposals from four suitors; got married to one of them and was fully restored to the glory of God. I have seen a lot of mighty deliverances, great healings and great manifestations take place in the atmosphere of praise.

  • From the depth of your heart praise, worship and thank God for his goodness and faithfulness towards you.
