REASONS TO GIVE THANKS TO GOD

6. Thanksgiving releases the anointing for limitless access; doors of breakthroughs, doors of good things.
Once God begins to bless you, begin immediately to give him thanks and you will see multiples of the mercies and goodness of God. Your greatest asset is your access to God’s throne of grace. If you are blocked you cannot gain access. Use thanksgiving and doors will swing open. Many years back I was being trained by Eastman Kodak as a field engineer in one of their facilities in Rochester. One day my instructor took me out to one of their buildings and as we approached a very massive gate, instead of slowing down, I noticed that he was still speeding. I got concerned and just few meters away from the gate, he just waved his identification card at the gate and it swung open on its own accord. I was dazed, that was my first time of seeing that kind of thing so I asked him what actually happened. So, he explained to me that the card had a censor which is an electronic eye similar to a transceiver. The censor in the card communicated with the censor at the gate and the gate responded. That was exactly what happened when Jesus was ascending. “Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory” (Psa. 24:7-10). From today, may you begin to experience multiple open doors in the mighty name of Jesus. When you knock one door, may five open at once in the name of Jesus Christ.
