2021/2022 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 3H (HEART OF THE MATTER II)

Psalm 51:6 “Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.”

God desires truth in the garden of the heart. The number one characteristic of a perfect heart is ‘truth’. When you are praying, is there truth in the garden of your heart? The prayer of a liar is an abomination before the Lord. We need to understand that these are serious technical dimensions of the word of God so that we can go on our knees. An average church goer wants to be worshipped and is not looking for a God to worship but a God to use to get things. The is due to the kind of messages that make workers instead of worshippers. Where are the fruits (Love, peace, joy, patience, faithfulness, goodness, gentleness, meekness and temperance) of the Holy Spirit? Ask yourself, “how many of these do I manifest after many years of being in the Lord?” We need to get these things right. When I had a recent one on one encounter with Jesus Christ, he did not mince words. He told me that his people are not ready. I have not recovered from that encounter. I was stranded in a dusty land where everyone was busy chasing money and piling material things to high heavens. You chase what you value, what you chase defines your worship. What you chase will always be ahead of you. We need to tell ourselves this truth and go on our knees. Truth in the inward man does not spare anyone.

Today, it is easy to be misunderstood especially when you try to correct people in love, because love has been perverted. I hear some parents say that they never use cane on their children, I say “Really? Are you wiser than God?” The word of God states in Prov 22:15; “Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.” They also forget Prov 3:12, “For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.”

The love that condones iniquity is not love, it is perversion.  Everything has been perverted by the snake in the garden. The only thing that rectifies deception is truth. Truth in the garden, that is why when Jesus came he said I am the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). Bring back truth in the garden of the heart.

• Dear Heavenly Father I worship and adore you. I celebrate your love and your kindness towards me. Grant me the grace to live above the corruption that is in the world that works through lust in Jesus’ name. Amen.
