2021/2022 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 9H (GET YOUR PRIORITIES RIGHT I)

Align with God and see him move; many a time, we restrain him. Meanwhile, the devil is busy creating scarcity, lack, poverty, suffering and penury. Money is the least of what you can give to God. When people reduce giving to only money, they miss it. They present the prosperity message only from the perspective of giving money, making money the bottom line and as such they end up producing idolaters. They inadvertently produce people who elevate money above God. Such people make their relationship with God transactional.

Our relationship with God should not be transactional; it should be transformational, based on love. For God so loved the world that he gave. Your giving must proceed out of love otherwise you have missed it. This is the error in the prosperity message; people are first and foremost taught to be givers before they are taught to be worshippers. Your giving should proceed out of worship. If you are not a worshipper, what you give amounts to wood, hay and stubble. If you are a worshipper, whatever you give is translates to gold, silver, or precious stone. 

Every ministry needs money to function and that is why pastors preach it directly or indirectly. You don’t give to God because you want to get, no, you give God because you love him. When you give him out of love, he will lavish you with blessings, he will blow your mind. He is the inexhaustible source of every good gift; the owner of all good and perfect gifts, the one who is boundless in resources, love and kindness.  You cannot out give God. It is in his nature.

Pray –

Dear Heavenly Father, I worship you. Grant me the grace to rise above the love of money in my relationship with you in Jesus’ name. Amen.
