LESSONS FROM THE BEAUTIFUL GATE

7. The lesson of accelerated progress as a result of an encounter with Christ.
One encounter with Christ will give you accelerated progress. Acts 3:8, “And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking and leaping, and praising God.” What the lame man could not do in a period of over forty years, he did in one glorious moment of divine intervention. Are you expecting an intervention from Jesus? Are you expecting a Jesus encounter? He will break the shackles and set you up to enter and to experience multiple dimensions of progress – doors will swing open. You can just imagine what this lame man had gone through for decades of sitting on one spot – he was at the mercy of those who came to give alms and at the mercy of those who took him to and from the Beautiful gate. It was a hopeless situation. Jesus turns hopeless situations around and when the shackles and fetters are shattered and the chains of limitation breaks, there will be accelerated progress; multidimensional progress.

Are you ready for multidimensional progress – leaping, walking and praising God? You will enter into things that hitherto you could not access; you will access them. Remember that your greatest asset is your access. If you can walk into where the matter is being decided, then your voice shall be heard. This year, you will enter and experience multidimensional progress. You will also experience accelerated progress. One of the things that oil does is that it removes the toil, stress and strain, it removes friction and lubricates your path. Oil makes the path smooth. Oil connotes favour; unprecedented favour will catapult you to the highest level. Without your name, the promotion list can never be complete henceforth. You will not miss it in the name of Jesus. Every stress and strain will be rolled away in the mighty name of Jesus. 

Take note that miracles do not just happen for the sake of it. God performs miracles for a purpose. One of the reasons why God allows miracles to take place is so that his name may be glorified. God wants his kingdom to extend through miracles. Apostle Peter understood this. Many people stop and park at the miracle stage forgetting that every miracle presents opportunity for soul winning.

The greatest miracle ever is the miracle of salvation of souls. Peter capitalized on the opportunity of the miracle of the healing of the lame man at the Beautiful gate; he preached a message at the end of which over five thousand men came to the saving knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. This happened in one glorious encounter. If there is joy in heaven over a soul who repents, you can imagine what happened when over five thousand men repented and gave their lives to Christ! That is what God wants to do in your life this year. May God open your eyes to opportunity for soul winning in the name of Jesus.

Don’t stop at the miracle level this year; go beyond the miracle. Win souls as a result of the miracle. Your best friend is the one that knows Jesus not any other one. Anyone that takes you to where Christ is, loves you. One glorious Jesus intervention brought wonders on earth, joy in heaven. Are you ready to experience wonders on earth and joy in heaven? That is what this ministry exists for – to magnify the name of the Lord. When you magnify the name of the Lord, you will experience the wonders of God.

The best way to celebrate Christ is to manifest his lordship. Remember that the key to manifest the lordship of Jesus is faith in the name of Jesus.

• Thank the Lord Jesus. Appreciate him.
• Rededicate your life to Jesus. Say, Jesus, I re-dedicate my life afresh to you; my body, my soul, my spirit, my mind, my will, my initiative, my personality I dedicate all to Jesus in the mighty name of Jesus. Everything that concerns me, I hand over to Jesus Christ – my home, my business, my ministry, the destiny of my children.
• Every second, every moment, every minute, every hour, every day, every week, everything I hand over to you Lord Jesus, have your way in my life. Magnify your name. Thank you so much in Jesus name.
