THE WAY OF THE CROSS VI

A sister went for choir practice some time ago and as she came out of the Church, a ‘snake’ waylaid her, packed a beautiful car beside her and beckoned on her. The sister, probably thinking that she had found a potential husband, responded. Eventually, she succumbed to his antics and entered into his car. The first mistake she made was to respond to the call. Apparently, the spirit of lust was already active in her. The call was not an ordinary one, it was a satanically anointed call. To cut the story short, she followed the stranger to a hotel. The man was kind enough to tell her that he was HIV positive but she thought it was a joke. She still went ahead and slept with the man! After that incident, the man absconded. The lady was infected with HIV virus.

May you not condone what you should confront. May you never accept what you should reject in the name of Jesus. What you should fence off, may you not fraternize with in the name of Jesus Christ. May you not defend nonsense because what you defend is what you align with.

The easiest way to be misled is to vote for nonsense. The Church must seat up. Pastor, if you are not preparing people for heaven, you are leading them astray – to hell. All these earthbound Christianity is hell bound Christianity. Every earthbound Christianity is hell bound Christianity. God did not send his Son to die for us so that we may become billionaires. We were not redeemed with silver and gold, let’s not reduce it to silver and gold. “Give me your gold and I will make you a god!” What sort of gospel is that? It is the gospel of Aaron. There is idolatry today in the Church. Idolatry is the perversion of worship. Who is responsible for perversion of worship? The snake! How did the snake enter the garden? Where was the watchman? 

We must get it right from the foundation because no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Christ Jesus. If you miss Genesis 3:15, forget it! You will end up in Revelations 21:8. Jesus is still looking for fruits. Remember what he did to the fruitless fig tree. Can you find any fruit of the Holy Spirit in a lion? No! Can you find any of the fruit of the Holy Spirit in an eagle? No! So, why become a lion? Why become an eagle? Let’s not celebrate what God calls abomination.

• Heavenly Father, I worship and adore you. I bless and magnify your name. Father, I ask you to make it impossible for anything that is capable of overwhelming me to come my way. Keep me as the apple of your eyes and guide me every inch of the way till I become all you want me to me and accomplish all you want me to accomplish. May I make heaven at last in Jesus’ name. Amen.
