VIRTUES OF THE CROSS 1A

You should be excited whenever you come into the presence of God. This is because you are about to experience a turning point that will take you up and so the best thing to do is to align. You don’t struggle with God and come out better off. The best thing any wise person can do is to surrender to the most supreme being; the King of kings the Lord of lords, the One who was, who is and ever will be. He is the unchanging changer of the whole universe, the creator of the whole universe. He spoke the world into existence saying, ‘Let there be light’ and there was light! We need to get our acts right.

You can get so familiar with God that his presence no longer excites you. May you not come to that point in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. If you are sincere with yourself, you will acknowledge that it is very easy to come to that point. Even some of the heroes of faith came to that point. David came to a point where he had to encourage himself in the Lord because he knew that any help that did not come from God was not help at all. We, therefore, need to be extremely prayerful. What you do at a turning point determines what you get.

We need to connect properly – one anointed word is what it takes to not only transform your world but make you a transformer of the world. That is God’s desire for his children. Do not allow the other spirit that is at war influence you in any way. That spirit takes people to the point where they get so disconnected that they become disenchanted with the things of God. Disconnection leads to disenchantment.

It can degenerate to the level where such people even believe the lie that God has failed them. At that stage, they are capable of committing suicide. If you look critically at the issues they are battling, you will discover that it was caused by a misstep. The moment you disconnect from the right source, you are bound to connect to the wrong source. Your weeping does not move God, what moves God is your faith; faith action. No matter how much you weep if you don’t take the right faith action, it will not produce any result.

Today preachers have left the abc of the gospel and are preaching xyz, meanwhile the foundation is in the abc. You cannot renovate a foundation; a lot of people do not have this foundation of abc, they are built on xyz.

Pray

• Lord, help me. Minister to me. I am open to the instructions of your word. Help me, O God. Where I need to make amends, help me to make amends and grant me grace, O God, to walk hand in hand with you to establish your purpose in my life.
• Show me your glory and mercy, love and kindness. Help me O God to align and stop struggling. Help me to align with your will so that your will may be established in every facet of my life. Let your word rule my world in Jesus’ name I pray.
