FROM THIS DAY 3B

The Holy Spirit is the spirit of sanctification. The Holy Spirit is the spirit that separates you from evil. The Bible says, evil communication corrupts good manners. Evil contaminates in order to consume. Evil has no redeeming feature. You can’t continue to company with evil people and not contract evil. The Holy Spirit wants to have more of you; the more you let him, the more he fills you, the more he takes over, the more you have the right perspective and the more the fire. It is the fire of his presence; it is not the fire of your presence. Can a man of God go into politics and still remain a man of God? You may wish to answer that question.

Truth does not bend to error, it does not matter who is involved. When some of these men of God go into politics, God allows them to fail because he loves them so much and just to let them know that he is not in it. Who is leading you? What is leading you? What business does a man of God have with a Godless business? You are either called or not called. The call of God is superior to any other call. When people throw away the call of God to pursue lower things, then, something is terribly wrong. God is not in it. God cannot bless anything that he does not endorse.

If you are not convinced that the call of God is superior to the call of man, you will continue to look for something that was never lost. One of the things that man lost in the Garden of Eden is identity. A lot of people have identity issues and that is why they struggle for titles. Without integrity, there is no ministry. Rom. 8:9 says, “But you are not like that. You are controlled by your new nature if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that if anyone doesn’t have the Spirit of Christ living in him, he is not a Christian at all)” (TLB). Use javelin anointing to destroy evil; do not tolerate it. Evil does not get better with time.

Wherever you are, be a righteous influence. Also recognize that it is not every open door that is from God; some are satan’s trap. May you never enter such a door in Jesus’ name. May you never put the wrong foot forward in the mighty name of Jesus. There is a prayer I love to pray for myself whenever I am at a crossroad – “Father, I have prayed concerning this issue, if you are not in it, please stop me”. I pray this prayer even in ministry because I recognize that it is not every open door that is God’s door.

Decide that from today, things must change in every area of your life.

Pray –

• From this day, the Lord begins to magnify his name in my life.
• From this day, the glory of God shall be revealed in my life.
• From this day, I shall lend to nations and I shall not borrow in Jesus’ name.
• From this day, I begin to operate in the highest in Jesus’ name.

We are not serving God for nought; he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. I encourage you to connect properly.
