SANCTIFY YOURSELF 3D

As a teenager, I was privileged to play lawn tennis with some billionaires back then and when I studied their lifestyle, I told myself that I don’t ever want to be like those men. They had so much money but no joy. It is very easy to enter into a trap but very difficult to escape. Do you know that by just raising your finger, you have entered into an agreement? You have yielded your will for something to happen. Someone who has authority over you can also enter into an agreement on your behalf.

I have been in the deliverance ministry for about three decades now and I have seen a lot of things. In the course of deliverance, I have heard demons say, ‘her mother gave her to us’, ‘her father gave her to us’, ‘her husband gave her to us’, ‘her grandmother gave her to us’. That is why I am always very thorough when it comes to the issue of marriage counseling. Do you know that your husband can hand you over to the devil? This is because he is your head as approved by God (Eph 5:22). A lady came to fellowship with us and after service she had a revelation to get more involved in the ministry many years back. On sharing the revelation with her husband, he banned her from ever coming back to the ministry again. Why? He had authority over her!

We must be careful of those who we associate with. Some people went to hell not because they were bad people but somewhere along the line, someone who was heading to hell came in contact with them, made an offer to them and because they were not discerning enough, embraced that person. Human beings are like elevators; they either take you up or down. As a pastor, you are not free to help everyone. I wish to help everyone I come in contact with, however, the moment you try to help some people, you will start to notice certain unfavourable things begin to happen around you; the demons in the person begin to attack some aspects of your life and things around you. That is why most pastors run away from the deliverance ministry.

The world is upside down today because the Church is not doing exactly what Jesus expects her to do. We need to acknowledge and confront this. We mustn’t try to avoid it. The worst part of it is syncretism, some pastors now promote ecumenism. If it is not Jehovah, the Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, you have no business with the people over there. Some bishops today preach from the Bible and other books from another religion just because they want to be accepted.

• Dear Heavenly Father I thank you for the many provisions you have made for my well being here and hereafter, through the death, burial, resurrection of your dear son Jesus Christ. I ask you in your mercy to make it impossible for the evil will of another personality to derail your purpose for my destiny in Jesus’ name.
