SANCTIFY YOURSELF 3C

As many as are led by the Holy Spirit, they are the sons of God (Rom. 8:14). The spirit of God is the spirit of sanctification. He is the spirit of holiness and the spirit of grace. Those who take grace out of context and present it as a licence to sin may not understand the true meaning. Run away from such people because they are headed in the wrong direction. A leader who is headed in a wrong direction cannot lead you to light. This is because nobody has a light of his own, all you do is to position yourself. Jesus is the light, as you align with him, your light will shine and the glory of God will be risen upon you.

Isa. 60:1-3, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.” You can be a light in a nation which is full of gross darkness. Henceforth, may the glory of the Lord God shine forth in your life in the name of Jesus. That is what the Church is all about. We should carry so much light that wherever we operate, darkness will be expelled. Receive the grace to carry so much light that anywhere you operate, darkness will be dispelled in the mighty name of Jesus. Keep in mind the dimensions of darkness – darkness the personality (satan), darkness the place, darkness the realm.

It is wrong to align with darkness and expect light. You cannot align with darkness and be innocent. Do you know that Judas may not have been a very bad person, he only allowed himself to align with darkness. Darkness deceived him. He never believed that Jesus was going to allow himself to be crucified. He was just being ‘smart’. He sold his master knowing full well that his master had all it takes to escape. Unfortunately for him, he played into the hand of the enemy. May you never play into the hands of the enemy all the days of your life in the mighty name of Jesus. When someone, an agent of darkness who has sold his soul to satan tries to entice you, do not consent.

Pray –

• Everlasting and most merciful Father, I worship and adore you in Jesus’ name. Thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ to die for me and deliver me from darkness. Make it impossible for me to ever align with any agent of darkness all the days of my life. Let your glorious light envelop me anywhere I go in Jesus’ name.
