Wickedness is a heart issue. Mark 7:21-23, “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornication, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and defile the man”.

Kingdom keys you need to walk in dominion (Cont’d.)

We had earlier established that you must be born again. John 3:3. You need to put on the whole armour of the Lord. Eph. 6:13-18. You need to know the weapons of warfare and be able to put them to use. 2 Cor. 10:3-6. One of the weapons that is often overlooked is the supernatural weapon of obedience. Another weapon is the word of God (the sword of the spirit Heb. 4:12). There are certain levels of divine interventions which no one can experience with partial obedience.

The problem with many of the people who go to Church is not outright disobedience but partial obedience. This is dangerous because the person who is walking in partial obedience believes that he is actually walking in obedience. The devil knows that he does not have to make a rebel out of people in order to score a cheap point, all he needs to do is to ensure that the person becomes negligent of one very simple part of the word and that is enough.

Partial obedience is actually partial disobedience and partial disobedience is outright disobedience. God does not expect us to be partial in obedience. It is very easy to overlook this and get into other areas of warfare. Other weapons are the blood of Jesus (Rev. 12:11) and the name of Jesus.

4.  Be addicted to the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The cross remains the symbol of dominion over spiritual wickedness. The cross is the divine prescription for everything the devil has ever done or damaged.  The cross is God’s own prescription to remedy every curse, to undo everything the devil has done, to neutralize the powers of hell and to enforce righteousness. The cross of our Lord Jesus Christ is the meeting point between the love, mercy and the truth of God. That is why on daily basis, you need to visit the cross if you want to remain relevant in spiritual warfare. Paul the apostle realized it in Gal. 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me”.  Meditate on this scripture on a daily basis. Whenever you go to the cross;

a.         you renew your strength,

b.        you get reinvigorated,

c.         you get more grace,

d.        you get more empowered – supernatural empowerment,

e.         you get more enlightened,

f.         you get more life, oil to function, fire, power, and authority.

Pray –

  • Dear Heavenly Father, I worship and adore you. I thank you for your generous prescription for my well being here and hereafter. I ask that you grant me the grace to be prompt and obedient to your word, and the promptings of the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name. Amen.
