2022/2023 OPERATION 18-18 – (SEVEN BARRIERS TO ELIMINATE II)

1 Cor. 3:11 says, “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” Anyone who misses Christ has missed a lot. The greatest tragedy is to go to a Christ-less grave. Don’t join the company of those who celebrate Christmas without Christ. Your greatest success factor is your connection to divinity through Christ. Jesus is the way. Back then every song we sang reminded us of heaven. Today, the reverse is the case. If you remove the blessed hope, a lively hope, then there is no life. This is what separates a child of God from others.

Celebrate God who has called you. Never you take your salvation for granted. Salvation is free but not cheap, it cost our heavenly Father his very best. Celebrate this because what you celebrate is what gets enhanced.

Seven Barriers to Eliminate for our Miracles to Happen

1. Ignorance, especially ignorance of God’s word.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”

Hosea 4:6 KJV

Every form of ignorance is lack of knowledge. It is difficult to define ignorance in one sentence but all manner of lack of knowledge constitutes ignorance and there are so many variations of it. Anyone who does not know the Way is an ignoramus. All manner of ignorance of the path leading to the cessation of unsatisfactoriness of things constitutes lack of knowledge.

“And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands. Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it”.

Isaiah. 5:12-13 KJV

The multitude is famished, stripped of dignity. Lack of knowledge (knowledge of the word of God – the incarnate word not intellectual knowledge) causes people to grope in darkness. Lack of knowledge causes people to chase shadow. People are looking for the miracle of God but not seeking his face; they are not ready to know the principles of this God. That is why a lot of miracles don’t happen. God does not throw his miracles all over the place.

Pray –

• Lord, help me to know you. Help me to know who I am in you and what you have done for me. Help me to know your word. Grant me the grace to be addicted to your word and to align with your word. Help me to eat your word. Let your word be my direction finder.
• Grant me the grace, O God, to be empowered by your word and to live my life according to the dictates of your word in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Let every barrier of ignorance dissolve and disappear in the name of Jesus Christ. Help me to know who I am in Christ, what Christ has done for me and what I have in Christ Jesus.
