2022/2023 OPERATION 18-18 – (SEVEN BARRIERS TO ELIMINATE I)

There is no better life than the life that is lived in Christ Jesus. Do not be deceived. The moment truth ceases to be absolute, it is no longer truth. That is why truth does not beg to be believed. Truth is strong enough to stand on its own; if you accept it, it exalts you. If you reject it, you pay for it. Everyone’s actions will be tested by life itself. This life is a laboratory and the people who believe lies pay dearly for it in this life.

The best life is the one that is lived in Christ. Don’t allow any scholar or intellectual bamboozle you. The fact that you are properly connected is an asset; may you never disconnect from light. As long as you are connected, there will continue to be a flow and as long as there is a flow, there will continue to be deposits. As long as there are deposits, there will continue to be fruits. Your joy shall be full, no power can stop you.

Your greatest enemy is the one that takes you outside the purpose of God. Anyone who does not want you to be what God wants you to be is your greatest enemy. Flee from that relationship. Your best friend is the one who takes you to Christ and consolidates your relationship with him. The greatest tragedy in life is to live a Christ-less life, die and go to a Christ-less grave!

Today, all over the world, people are looking for things to celebrate; they even celebrate the birthday of satan, called Halloween. They celebrate superfluity of naughtiness. They celebrate absurdity. It seems to me that the more advanced a nation is, the farther away from God it becomes. Those whom God used to bring Christianity to Africa have become dark, very far away from God because they began to magnify sensual knowledge, worldly knowledge which is earthbound and which does not lead anyone to divinity. Today, people leave Africa to go and evangelize Europe, the Americas and other continents.

The beautiful thing about truth is that it is eternal, truth is clear, truth is simple. Truth explains all. Truth is consistent; it does not change from season to season. It does not change from time to time. It does not change from place to place. Truth is universal. Truth is eternal. Truth does not change as a result of anyone’s opinion. “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” (John 17:17). The word of God is the absolute truth. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and life, no one comes to the Father except by me. People all over the world, today, are asking foolish questions about eternity.

At a point in my life, when foolishness crept in, I did the same. I started asking questions and gave myself the task of discovering the truth. I read all manner of books. I thank God for his love for me. It was in my little room far away from my home during the mandatory national youth service corps programme in 1985 that I came to the end of the road; took stock of my life and discovered that the first thing that left me when I started searching for what was never lost was my peace.

Jesus Christ is the Prince of peace. Without Christ, the world is dry. Anything without Christ has no life. Some people think that it is in accumulation of material things; material prosperity cannot give you joy. Joy is a fruit of the spirit and can only be found in the presence of God. Anyone who has no truth has no life. We are not apologetic about this.

Some pastors are so confused and so earthbound that they no longer believe that there is heaven. I had an encounter where Jesus approached me. He delivered me and handed over the truth to me. That was when the Bible became life to me. Truth is boundless. Truth breaks barriers, breaks intellectual bondage and causes you to submit. The emptiest people are those who are living anti-submissive life, those who are lord unto themselves.

Some of the things we take for granted are just because of the mercies of God; it costs some other people huge sums of money to find the peace that is in the Lord. It cost me five years of wandering in the wilderness to find peace. My peace returned only when I surrendered to Christ completely; no more arguments. I burnt all the books I read, went on my knees, and dedicated my life to Christ. Thereafter, I started having encounters to the glory of God.

Pray –

• Everlasting and most merciful Father, I thank you for calling me out of darkness to the marvelous light of your dear son Jesus Christ. I ask you to grant me the grace to submit completely to your purposive will for my destiny, and to fulfill it in Jesus’ name, amen.
