THE ANOINTED STONE VI

The early Church did not spare or allow any sorcerer have their way. Whenever you are called upon to perform a ‘destructive’ miracle, you must not shy away from that responsibility. Get too hot for any nonsense power to mess you up. Don’t frolic with nonsense.

Jesus stripped himself; he humbled himself to the point of going to the cross for you and I. Become a vessel of honour. May God use you to dismantle, demystify and dethrone every goliath in the mighty name of Jesus. David became a national hero overnight; from the wilderness to the palace. That is what God will do in your life. Anointing will magnify your influence.

“My heart is inditing a good matter. I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever”.

Psalm 45:1-2, KJV

It is a heart issue. What is bubbling in your heart? If you want the name of Jesus to be potent and a dangerous weapon in your mouth, let your heart be fixed on God. Be God centred. Be sanctified. Separate yourself from the world.

“Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the scepter of thy kingdom is the right scepter. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.”

Psalm 45:6-8, KJV

Anointing will make you smell fine. Heaven is full of beautiful aroma; if you scent it nothing down here will appeal to you anymore. It is because people are too earthbound that they put their head into the world and sink with it.

There is power in the name of Jesus. The anointed stone will bring down every goliath in your life. If you want to see that anointing increase in your life, press into practical demonstrable righteousness. Don’t be part of those who rationalize evil. Be on the path of righteousness, have right standing relationship with God. That is what God will back up. The anointing must flow from above.

The God we serve is a thrice holy God. If you want your anointing to know no bounds, you must love righteousness and hate wickedness. It is not enough to love righteousness, you have to hate wickedness; hate what God hates. Don’t be political about it. What is not right can never be right in the sight of God no matter who is involved. Why did Saul miss it? He wanted to be politically correct but spiritually wrong. May that not happen to you in Jesus’ name.
