DOMINION OVER DEATH V

One disobedience brought every calamity. A curse was placed. A place that was supposed to produce bountifully began to produce thorns and thistles. Everything started to shrivel; there was a curse, blessing was converted to curse. The environment was transformed. Dryness and barrenness set in. Sickness and diseases appeared. Death came. Poverty and scarcity came. Distress, discontentment, and disharmony came as a result of disobedience.

How obedient are we today, especially in the things of God? However, God is so wonderful. Even as he was punishing the disobedience of man, he made a way of escape out of his love and wisdom. If God had so desired, he would have wiped out the Adamic stock and done a re-creation. Though the magnitude of man’s sin was not as great as that of Lucifer, Lucifer committed his sin in his heart; he committed the offense in his heart, and God judged him by banishing him. Some of the angels (about one-third of the angels) who sympathized with him were also banished

That is one of the reasons why you must be careful how you rationalize and promote nonsense. Some people who go to Church today are not doing so to seek God. They go to Church to look for a God to worship them not a God to worship. This is one of the reasons why they cannot receive the bride’s message. This was how death came. But God in his infinite mercy, (the two paths of God are mercy and truth according to Psa. 25:10), made a way of escape. The more you understand the word of God, the more you fall in love with him and the more you see the stupidity of those who are chasing shadows.

One of the things that man acquired in Eden is a diseased perception of reality, incapable of making right (simple) decisions. Man acquired what is called unified intelligence; man’s will became unified with the will of the snake because whoever you submit to has become your leader. The worst thing that can happen to anyone is to follow a leader who is going in the wrong direction. It is so easy to align with hell and think that one is still on the way to heaven. Things will continue this way until the antichrist comes with a false prophet who will perform lying wonders. Sadly, a lot of people will line up to follow him.

• Heavenly Father, I thank you for your loving kindness towards me in sending your son to die for my sins so that I can have an inheritance in your kingdom. I ask you to grant me the grace to submit completely to your will as enunciated in your word and the leading of your Holy Spirit. Empower me by your spirit to live for you in Jesus’ name.
