SUNDAY SERVICE

DOMINION OVER DEATH VII

The greatest altar ever raised is the altar of Calvary. With this revelation, no contrary power should be able to mess you up. Nobody is called to walk on red carpet. You are supposed to walk on serpents and scorpions.

Take note that it takes sanctified feet to crush the head of leviathan. Jesus expects those who connect to him to spoil principalities. Principalities are administrators of evil in a space or environment. God expects us to rule over them. God expects us to exercise dominion over them and never to bow or submit to their whims and caprices.

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
John 14:6, KJV

Anyone who misses Jesus has missed the way. Whoever misses the way has missed life. The anointing that destroys death can only be found in Christ. Dominion over death can only be possible through connection to Jesus Christ.

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth (makes the habit of believing or continues to believe) in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”
John 11:25-26, KJV

Martha confronted Jesus and told him that if he had been around, her brother Lazarus would not have died. But Jesus responded to her by saying that he is the resurrection and the life. He was speaking mysteries that might be too advanced for some people to understand. One of the most difficult things to be today is to be a true believer.

Your connecting rod that will draw the life of Christ that will destroy not only sickness, disease, death, hell but everything that is evil is – believe! It is not automatic, it is very optional. If it were very easy then everyone will be a believer. One of the gates of hell and one of the seven seals of Lucifer is unbelief. Unbelief is one of the things that will shut out many people from making heaven. This belief is continuous.

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”
John 17:3, KJV

Our belief must produce knowledge. We need to progress in our belief for it to become knowledge. Our connection to Jesus should not be shaky and should not be only on Sundays; it should be our life. There is no abundant life without Christ. Eternal life is not something you die to inherit; it is something that begins here and now.

PRAYER –
  • Ask the LORD to graciously strengthen your belief in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the eternal son of the living God.
