BE A GOD CHASER 4A – QUALITIES OF GOD CHASERS I

God is interested in souls. Whenever you align with God’s kingdom objectives, you will never lack. Nothing can stop you. Flow with the heart beat of God and you will become his darling. God has darlings. He does not just reward those who seek him but those who diligently seek him. God rewards kingdom service and it does have generational value. This realization should make you value your relationship with God more.

One of the things that man lost in Eden is the ability to make right choices. God, in his infinite mercy, blessed man with free will; a perfect man in a perfect environment that he gave just one command which he could not keep. Man acquired a diseased perception of reality. He acquired what theologians call the unified intelligence, man’s will in union with the will of the Edenic snake.

If man realizes how helpless and hopeless a situation can be without God, man will just be a God chaser. But many times, you see man chasing other things but God. The more you see how man continues to make wrong decisions, the more you should value what God is doing in your life.

When the spirit of God is moving, the best you can do is to align. Where you have uncommon flow, you will have uncommon deposits. Whenever I look at what God is doing from the prophetic perspective, I tremble because I know that more than ever before, we are really close to the second coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

When we gave our lives to Christ years back, the message was very simple – Sinner repent, Jesus is coming soon. Where will you spend eternity? As simple as these sentences are, they capture everything. As time went on, this message became more and more diluted. When was the last time you heard it? Yet, we are closer to the second coming of Christ more than we can ever imagine. One of the things that would be fulfilled before this happens is that the gospel would have been preached all over the world.

If you take a look at the Laodicean Church in the book of Revelations 3, you will find the picture of the Church today; the Church that is neither hot nor cold. The Church that has everything, very prosperous and feels that it has need for nothing else.

The Church was given birth to by apostles and prophets, the Church is winding down with apostles and prophets. The Church was given birth to with great power. The Church is going to wind down with greater power, so we are a people born in due season.

The question I keep asking myself is – how do I align? I want you to be a part of it. The end time move of God is not coming, it has started. It is here with us. What are you doing with it?

• Lord, I thank you. I bless and magnify your name. Grant that my love for you will never wax cold. Strengthen me. Help me to align. Help me to walk with you. Help me to be part and parcel of your end time agenda in the name of Jesus.
