QUALITIES OF THOSE WHO CHASE GOD

8. Every God chaser thirsts after the presence of God and is addicted to the presence of God.

“My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?” 

Psalm 42:2, KJV

You cannot be in the presence of God and be lonely. Even when in the midst of a large crowd, some people can still be lonely. Depression is ravaging the world today. The secret to destroying depression is the presence of God. You cannot be in the presence of God and be lonely. A lot of people do not know how to practice the presence of God. The blessings of the presence of God are boundless; the lifting that comes from his presence is great. In his presence, you get caught up in heavenly worship.

It takes discipline to be a disciple; every disciple is a disciplined follower. Jesus said everything he does is what he sees his Father do. He was addicted to the presence of God.

ACTION POINTS

• Let’s stretch. Let’s look up. Let’s go and download things from heaven and be miracles waiting for where to happen.
• Let’s be true sons and daughters of the living God that spoke the world into existence.
• Let’s be solution providers. Let’s start solving problems in the world. Let us be light indeed.
• Let’s be so addicted to the presence of God that we become unreachable, untouchable and indestructible to the powers of darkness.
• Let’s become carriers of so much of the presence of God that our shadows will heal the sick and raise the dead.
• Stop chasing miracles, chase God. The Bible says, these signs shall follow them that believe, in my name they shall cast out devils (Mark 16:17). How many devils have you cast out since you became a believer?

God is so interested in the power of his presence that he has given us the precious Holy Spirit to indwell us.
