BE A GOD CHASER 5A – QUALITIES OF GOD CHASERS 2I

The easiest way to bring down the presence of God is through praise. Psa. 22:3, “But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel”. God inhabits the praises of his people. When God comes down, the mountains will skip. The presence of God will guarantee you every miracle that you need. The songs you sing must be spirit birthed. If you play or sing worldly songs, you will release the spirit of the world.

Jesus said,

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Matthew 6:33, KJV

What you seek first has become your god. Whatever you place side by side God in your heart has become your idol. It is so easy to get into idolatry and that is perhaps the reason why idolatry is the fastest growing religion in the world today. We shall not be idolaters in Jesus’ name.

Pray –
  • Lord, make me a God chaser for life. Heavenly Father, make me a God chaser for life in the name of Jesus Christ. Let all the good qualities of God chasers be manifest in my life in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord, in Jesus’ name.
Qualities of God Chasers (Continued)

9. God chasers love what God loves and hate what God hates.
So many people today love what God loves but when it comes to hating what God hates, they tend to misunderstand God. They tend to be godlier, goodlier, and wiser than God. They tend to be more merciful than God. All these are born out of limited revelations. It is not enough to love God, you have to love what he loves and hate what he hates. That is the real definition of holiness. Holiness is not about just loving God and doing what pleases you. It is loving God and going out of your way to do his will. It involves loving God, loving what he loves and hating what he hates. One of the characteristics of God is that God is holy. Anyone who does not love God enough cannot imbibe the quality of the holiness of God. 1 Thes. 5:22 says, “Abstain from all appearance of evil”. You must flee from every appearance of evil. This scripture will guide you this end time in a world where everybody is trying not only to lower the standards of God but also rationalize it. In the process of doing this they twist the word of God and take grace to another level entirely. They may even come with the doctrine of once saved, saved forever; the moment you confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, it does not really matter how you live! Those who try to correct this misnomer are labeled as judgmental. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:15, “But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.” The things you fail to judge will judge you.
