BE A GOD CHASER 6D – QUALITIES OF GOD CHASERS 3IV

15. God chasers are wise, they know how to invest their lives.

“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever”.

Daniel 12:3, KJV

Your life cannot be hidden once you are aligned with the purposive will of God. The easiest way to shine is to align with light. God chasers live to do the will of the Father in heaven. That is their purpose so they invest their lives on things that have eternal value. God chasers don’t joke with eternity. It is the most foolish thing to do – to leave eternity to chance. Nobody ever stumbles into heaven by chance; you walk intentionally into it step by step. Time is ticking. Every passing moment is taking you closer and closer to your resting place. Everyone will end up in the home of their father. John 8:44 tells us about the father of lies. Will you end up in the home of the father of lies?

“Every good and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning”.

James 1:17, KJV

There are two fathers – the Father of lights and the father of lies.

16. God chasers don’t tell lies.
They not only tell the truth, they live it because the Holy Spirit guides them into all truth. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth. A lying spirit will lead to hell. The Holy Spirit will lead to life; he is the spirit of life. If you still find yourself telling lies even when you want to speak the truth,

I pray that:

• You receive strength. Receive dominion. Receive empowerment. Receive Holy Ghost leading to be lifted to walk in comprehensive dominion over the sin of lying and deception in the name of Jesus.
• God will guide you and lead you, he will lift you and establish you in Jesus’ name.

The beautiful thing about those who are pressing to heaven is that they are quick to acknowledge when they miss it. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of conviction.

Ponder on these –

• How far have you invested in the things of God?
• If your score card were shown to you, would you be happy with the result?
