2023/2024 OPERATION 18-18 – (THE BEST WAY TO CELEBRATE CHRIST V)
Seven ways we can properly celebrate Jesus
3. Believe him.
Unbelief is a well blocker and a gateway to hell.
“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”Mark 9:23, KJV
You must make a habit of believing. The way to celebrate Jesus Christ is to believe him. He is the incarnate word; eat the word, run with it. Kill the mountain of doubt and you will become a miracle looking for where to happen. Combine believing him with simple obedience to his word. The real meaning of faith is trusting God no matter the circumstance. He is faithful who has promised. He will do it. Jesus Christ is coming again, do you believe that? That he came to save the world from sin is a fact of history. That he is coming again for his own, is a fact of prophecy. The question is, will you fly? Are you his own? For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes (continues to believe) in him should not perish but have an everlasting life. Everlasting life is our portion in Jesus’ name.
Pray –
- Lord, strengthen me. Remove every seed of unbelief. Remove every evil seal of doubt from my heart so that my miracle will not be short circuited, so that my miracle will manifest and so that my prayers will fly, the glory of God may be revealed.
- Lord, remove every trace of unbelief in the mighty name of Jesus.
- Father, grant that none of us will miss it when you come. Keep us as the apple of your eye. Grant us grace to walk with you and to be at the right place at the right time.
- Set our affections aright on the things that are above. Keep us trusting you in the name of Jesus. May we never be part of the rot in the system.
- Grant us grace to live above the vicissitudes of this generation, the deceptions that are in the world and the corruption that works through lust. Help us to live above only in Jesus’ name.
4. Learn of him.
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest for your souls.”Matthew 11:28-29, KJV
Nobody wants to be meek any more, everyone wants to be a lion. Unfortunately, a lot of cathedrals are busy raising lions and eagles today. The lion of the tribe of Judah in Revelations 5 is a title. The real Christ is meek. When the elders looked, what they saw was a lamb that was slain. That is the real Christ. If you don’t know the lamb, you don’t know Jesus Christ. It was only as a mediator that he was able to fulfil his ministry. At the end of that chapter, you will discover that every lion must worship the lamb.
“And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever."Revelations 5:13-14, KJV
In God’s kingdom, the way up is down. We need to keep reminding ourselves of this because we are in a very idolatrous environment. I can understand it in the world but when it crept into the Church, the problem began. Jesus said, learn of me! How much of Christ do you manifest? A disciple is a disciplined follower of the mentor. Are you a disciplined follower of Christ? How much Christlikeness is in you? Do you have the nature of the lamb? Do you manifest the fruits of the Holy Spirit? There is no fruit of the spirit in an eagle or a lion, not one. Righteousness can make you bold, but boldness can never make you righteous. There are more unrighteous bold people in the world today. Don’t ever become a lion if you want to make it to heaven; Jesus is not the shepherd of the lion, he is the shepherd of the sheep. Jesus said my sheep hear my voice and they follow me (John 10:27). What do you really love? It is only those who have the Lord as their shepherd that will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Pray –
- Father, please help me to be Christlike. Help me to be like you in word and in action. May I be a worthy ambassador of Christ everywhere I go.
- Let your image be formed in me. Let your signature be upon my forehead. Help me, O God, to imbibe your nature and to manifest your glory. Let your name be magnified in Jesus’ name.
