2023/2024 OPERATION 18-18 – (AN ENCOUNTER WITH CHRIST 2D)

PRAYERS CONT’D

• Remove from me, O God, stubbornness that comes from the enemy. Roll away everything that is adamic in the name of Jesus.
• I align with the will of your Son, Jesus Christ as he said in John 4:34, my meat is to do the will of my father, Lord, let this be my meat.
• Grant me the grace to celebrate and do your will in all circumstances and in every situation. Thank you ancient of days, in Jesus’ name.

It all comes down to worship. Jesus was a consummate worshipper. It takes placement of value for you to allow the will of God to prevail. The greatest demonstration of worship was on the cross. Every Christian virtue was displayed on the cross. The Church started producing idolaters instead of worshippers when she relegated the message of the cross to Easter. There are workers everywhere. Where are the worshippers? Martha was a worker while Mary was a worshipper, which of them did Jesus commend?

Our salvation should be comprehensive.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 

2 Corinthians 5:17, KJV

New creature here means new specie of human being. Old things are passed away, all things are become new. There should be a shift from the things we used to do; there must be transformation. Today, when people give their lives to Christ, there is no difference between their old life style and the new. The only difference is that such people go to Church on Sundays. They can even climb the ecclesiastical ladder and become deacons. No transformation!

We must learn to exercise our will in the right choices. God expects his children to put away iniquity. It takes a decision to do so. A lot of Christians make vows which they forget to keep. This is one of the ways by which some people punctuate their ascent; this is how they cut off the flow of the spirit of grace, the Holy Spirit. God does not celebrate people who do not have the spirit of truth. Integrity is consolidation of character. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth. God desires truth in the inward part. If you are a child of God, you must be a person of integrity (Psa. 51:6). Please straighten up.

The cross of Christ is the greatest display of truth and mercy. It was at the cross that the mercy and truth sides of God met (Psa. 25:10). At the cross, mercy and truth kissed each other. The cross is the greatest display of the grace, wisdom, and power of God. Every Christian virtue is encapsulated in the cross.

Pay your vows. Don’t be a covenant breaker. God, the Father, is a covenant keeper. The marriage covenant is an example of covenant people break easily. If you are not a person of integrity, please don’t aspire to get married because you will definitely break the marriage covenant. That is the reason why a lot of homes are in shambles today.

A lot of people don’t know the consequence of breaking covenants. When you break a covenant, serpent will enter and there will be crisis. This is one of the reasons why people pray and nothing happens. Let your word be your bond.

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person. He shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness of thine hands.”

Job 22:28-30, KJV

When you decree a thing, it shall be established because God is delighted in you. When his light shines in your life, you cannot put the wrong foot forward. Your decisions will be spot on. Heaven will back you up to succeed. Your life will become a symphony and not a cacophony. Your case will be different. While others are complaining of hardship, you will be lifted. The light of God will shine upon your path. According to Prov. 4:18, this light shines from brightness to brightness. Your path will be the path of the righteous.
